I wouldn’t know pricing can vary drastically market to market and home to home and depending on the level of service and guarantee provided This project was about 28k in 2023 in Chicago suburbs including utility rebates Unfortunately prices are on a non stop climb

It can be adjusted, but default balance point is 32F to switch over

By default is present at 32F outdoor temperature, however this can be adjusted down Balance points will vary drastically from building to building depending on how well insulated and air tight home is and on how sizing was designed and how much airflow ductwork can handle
