I just want to start by saying I know that it's been a tough year for you and I appreciate so much how you always manage to take time to cheerfully show up for another unboxing. It REALLY depends on how you feel about ingredient origin, because a lot of the price is the use of say, Protected Geographical Indication labels, like hazelnuts from Piemonte, Italy, or Bulgarian roses… and the rest of the price is just because they’re one of those companies that is big on green purchasing and organic, sustainably grown, and non-GMO ingredients. It’s definitely worth it to read up on them; I stumbled across them in O’Hare, of all places, when they were a tiny, tiny company, and it became one of my sweet treats (bribes) for flying through O’Hare - I’d squirrel aside $100 for 16 truffles and a chocolate library of six bars, stuff like that. These days, Whole Foods carries them, and you can buy online… my favorite chocolate bar will set you back $9, and it’s worth every. Penny. 😂

And I appreciate her not being so casual about the cost and the crap that they DARE to put in them for the cost !!! like what do they think putting in samples that they legit give away any other time of the year! I used to be a preferred Macy's customer and legit every time I shopped, I got so much stuff shoved in my bag with every purchase,aside from the "free with purchase" stuff they ALWAYS have going, it was incredible. I was always buying more, because they knew ,throw those samples in. If they had dared,one time to try and charge me for those samples, I would have laughed... These places know that people are suffering from fomo .

As a person who is trying to remain frugal in this holiday season, I am thankful that you created this video to give me an honest cost breakdown of what expenses you are taking for your business. While I don't have 7k that I am willing to drop on a host of advent calendars, it does make me feel a little better about making a purchase of a $20 dollar advent calendar. Honestly I think about this every year, but always at the end when we're getting towards the really *fancy* calendars with their fancy prices that have dollar store items. Mostly because I want a kind of pricy advent calander myself but am soooo scared of getting ripped off. And you have to buy them so early if you want the good ones so I never do. 3:07 I saw a video from a girl who opened this calender. Now I know what's inside but I'm not gonna say, just gonna say that that girl was wrong fully cheery about what came in it. In the way someone would be who had no idea how much it cost (cost as in how much money you have to spend to get the equivalent points)

I love watching Advent Season on your channel!!! It is pure holiday joy and fun, your reactions and description are so genuine!!I I know some of these calendars are $$$$, if it lessens the burden on the expense, know that to me and probably others) what you do is priceless. A few years ago, I lost my mother to cancer right before the holiday, since then I have not been able to decorate or even put up a tree. Thank you for giving me times where I can put the sadness aside and enjoy Advent madness. 💗💗
