It is a cute calendar, sadly I think that the whole budget for it went into the box and not the items inside. Yes, the box is cute and great for displaying, but what are you going to do with so many paper clips, bookmarkers and the paper mushroom thing. The only things I personaly liked were the notebook and the calendar. Is just not worth the price for me and im sad cause I really wanted to like it.

I completely agree. The theme and packaging is cute but for that price, no thanks. I feel like they did the bare minimum that they could get away with and called it day. Like Charry said, they could have done a lot more on the details and provided us with proper substance instead of flimsy star, cheap paper bookmark and ribbons.

For a paper lover and crafter, this calendar is perfect! You can use SO many items to craft other items/gifts for friends and family. I love it!

unpopular opinion, apparently, but i think this was worth the price, considering the price of good quality stationary items. And especially the packaging needs to be considered part of the gift. This seemed a lot more carefully curatedl than some of the mass market ones.

It's so beautiful, this calendar has been victim to people stealing their photos and adverts to sell cheaply made copies of it, which is so sad.

When talking about value for money I think it’s important to recognise this calendar was from a smaller business rather than a large conglomerate. I thought the calendar was delightful and the items, particularly those with personalisation, showed thoughtfulness and care by the creator.

This calendar is STUNNING! I see you weren’t too excited about some items but maaannn all of these surprises are perfect for a stationery lover. The ruler has that “fancy bit” at the end because it’s supposed to be used as a bookmark. I loved every single thing you unpacked and I think most of the cost went towards the artwork and the customization of some of the items. This is totally worth £109, stationery is hella expensive haha

The packaging was lovely! Personally, though, I would have thought there would be more actual stationary in a stationary advent calendar... meaning legitimate notepads or notebooks, and maybe some personalized envelopes.

Hi, Cherry! I personally think the presentation was better than the realization, but this is beautiful! Idea....adhere 2 of the paper bookmarks back-to-back, give a good coat of mat modpodge, add your own ribbon, tassel or bauble in the top hole. Then use a fancy clip from the calendar to attach the bookmark to a gift, or card...or a giftcard! That would be an easy, personal and useful gift add-on using your calendar supplies! Thanks for a banging advent season so far!!

I too love 💕 stationery.....but that's a really expensive advent calendar for some of the items. It's probably that most of the cost went into the exquisite packaging, which you can at least reuse.

actually obsessed with the oackaging because you can definitely use those little "books" as storage! for the items included inside, it seemed a bit pricey, but the amount of effort put into the designs make up for it, imo.

I think you can use the green thing from the first bookmark for the others .. if it get damaged ;) The other are just in case :D You don't read 5 books at the same time ... but after using it on 5 books it might get damage ;)

I loved the woodland and navy blue theme of the stationary. I love the mushrooms, squirrels, owls and strawberries. So cute! I went right to the Martha Brook website to see if I could order it. Sadly she didn't have much at all to order with the woodland theme. 😢 maybe she will have it later.

I actually prefer unlined notebooks, but overall I do feel like they could carried through the woodsy theme overall. The notepads could have had more illustrations, and all of thr metal items could have had more on theme engravings. It started out very magical but ended up being only somewhat magical.

£109 for 24 items is only around £4.50ish average per item not including the beautiful packaging. Being from a small biz and with some items customised too, I think its really lovely! I couldnt afford it myself but really enjoyed the video and loved seeing all the pretty stationary unboxed 😍 I do agree with you there about the pages of the notebook being disappointing at the end 🙈 the cover was gorgeous but I love when there is a little illustration running through the pages!

I think this was a truly lovely advent calendar. I thought all the items were very nice. Rarely are you going to to have every item hit for every single person. I think the personalization and the beautiful artwork makes it more than worth the price. Are there some things that could have improved it, yes, but isn't there always. The final item, lines and corner artwork wood have been an improvement depending on what you use it for. You could use it for a sketch pad and lines would have ruined that. The printed calendar can be proppedup on your desk for easy reference or hung up and flipped each month. Overall, I think it was great and had good variety. It's it going to make everyone completely happy? Probably not, but have any of the calendars and items been perfect for everyone? No.

Cherry I think the notebook at the end number 25 I think you could put your own design to it. I think you could draw your own pictures put your own stickers. I mean I like a plain journal with no lines in it cuz I get to make my own lines. But that's just me

I didn't even know there are stationary advent calendars until recently when I saw an unboxing of this one, the Papier and the Cult Pens :) I don't watch them anymore because I'd want them so badly! I closed my eyes and ordered a Papier which is a fortune for me, the most expensive gift for myself.. but "hey," I thought, "you were so string and good this year, you deserve it!" So I'm waiting for mine to come all the way from the USA. I loved the theme of Martha Books' as well and I bookmarked it to look for next year probably. In my country they don't have and don't deliver as many advent calendars which is a pity because I think it's a perfect way to try out something new for you and find new favourites in any aspect of life. PS: Loved the video!

For the most part, this calendar was cool. Depending on the designs and how they're done, I don't really like cottagecore. I prefer celestial or at least, a different colour palette for this, maybe pastel. There were a fair amount of useful items in this for a stationery advent calendar, and I do like notepads that don't have adhesive. I'm not sure about the price point though, seems it was mostly on the packaging again, and maybe the pens. Still a fun video, though.

This calendar has now sold out, the owner has had to battle Facebook and Amazon to get cheap fakes removed, Facebook still haven’t removed the fake websites for this on their site, so please be careful I’d hate to see anyone scammed ❤

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE stationary and writing supplies. Ferris Wheel Press is one of my most favorite companies for their pens, ink, and selection of notebooks. I like what Martha Books Stationary was working to do with this calendar, and the packaging is beyond lovely, but I just don't see the value for what you get especially with shipping to make it almost $200.

@@cherrywallis You should, it's British! I'm aiming to get one next year, even with shipping to canada. There are 3 variations of the cult Pen, the premium is like 500$, but it comes with really crazy pens, including one mont blanc (12 days.) The middle one is 150$ ish, it has a great variety of every day pens, rare ones, fountain pens, and expensive ones with some stationary and ink. There's also a totally ink one, which is cool, but not one I'd get. It's a great mix for stationary folks and artists.

You can use Novelty paper clips as bookmarks, and in the pink train advent calendar you didn't open the rotating( circle )in the middle, I think they were blushes. I think it was day 5
