As solid as Strahan's Pyramid is (and it's a terrific reboot), the one thing I miss about today's version is the friends/loved ones storming the set on the big win. I hope everyone that joined you, Wayne, is doing well.

1977 and he was 19 years old. It's 41 years later. So now he is 60 years old. Wow.

Hey Wayne, this is so cool. I often wonder about people who were on game shows in the 60's, 70s, 80's, like what are they up to now. Thanks for coming on here, and answering questions.

Appeared on one other show since then... on Super Millionaire (with Regis) in May-2004. Those clips are here as well.

Tony Randall was unflappable in "Pyramid." It's like he could be on a roller coaster ride... and, when he was done riding, his hair would still be intact.

I think Tony is stunned he won so easily!

You're one of the few people who didn't have a difficult time with that last category.

(Cotton things) the little white stuff in the bottle of pills checkout tense tiebreaker from the 20k pyramid to get the reference lol.

Yeah Things in a JAR and The ORIGINAL COLONIES were stinkers. COTTON Things was tricky too!

Tony gets "Cotton things" again like he did in a 1976 episode where it was the top box and they were generous with his "stuffings in little bottles of pills" clue! He didn't encore that clue this time.

Congratulations! Those were hard categories, especially "Things in a Jar". I hope you used the money well. Maybe to buy a new hat? :)
@chapter7thomas6 жыл бұрын
Frank Darmstadt all categories were easy except for Things In A Jar. The top category was very easy. Tony Randall could have even said JAMESTOWN for The Original Colonies.

Tony gave a clue a year earlier for the second $100 box in this Winner's Circle that should have been buzzed but wasn't.
@brycelandon63876 жыл бұрын
Except that in the 1970s, that kind of clue was legal. It was only outlawed in 1982 when The New $25,000 Pyramid debuted on CBS.
