Would I lose marks if I had used the rounded value, when the mark scheme used the calculator value and gave me not the exact value? Or vice versa?

Hello Ms, my name is savia idres. I am a Yr 13 student in Iraq, Ms I have a question regarding past papers,I have problems with which value to use when using an answer from a previous question in a calculation. Do I use the rounded value or the calculator value? Especially when using either would result in different values. For example, in this question -Q1 - 9702/42/M/J/19: Ms for question C (i), my teacher said I would not get the mark for having gotten 6.5 x10^-11 instead of 6.4 x10^-11, even if I show my substitution clearly. And Ms one problem I come across is. It's really confusing that each past paper is different, sometimes they use rounded or calculator values and both give different values. What do I do then? How would I know which to use?

@@ayeshakhan8726 but there are cases when using the calculator value ends up with a different answer from the mark scheme

​ @Savia Idres you have to understand the fact that the ms is just for guidance again , small variations in answers will still be awarded by the examiner , i have experienced this before during AS where i saw how examiners actually correct the paper with official rules , but remember when another question asks you to use your value in the previous question (you may rounded it to 1.57 or 1.6) , you can use that value to work out the next answer there would be no problem , but if there is a question which just says calculate the next quantity , it's alright if you use the rounded off value in the previous question but you might lose a mark due to early rounding(it's rare but don't take the risk lol) , I recommend you use the calculator value ( the ms answer might be different) but the examiner will award you full marks so dw.
