I'm the one featured with this team on the A-Slash video. Guzzlord is a lot of fun, can be an amazing core breaker but can also have almost no play versus teams like Medi 2x steel/fairy. Glad it went well and you had fun! For those interested, I also used variations of this team like Azumarill/Fini, S-Sableye, Guzzlord, but I do think the DD one is the best one.

Hi Jonkus, thanks for showing us the new teams every day! :) It's great to see the meta shifted away from the holy trinity of Lanturn, Noctowl and Medichamp. I recently encouter a lot of Sableeye + double steel and tried to counter it with regular Sandslash. I am not a good teambuilder though, could you try to build a team around it? :)

Think I was one of your early losses; medi lead, insta swapped to owl and got off the shadow ball, zard in the back. Guzzlord seems legit in the GL meta, maybe even better in ultra. Could pair well with goldengo if you have one to feature on the channel?

Brutal Swing is 5-4-5 while Crunch is 5-5-5, but it also does a tiny bit more damage + the chance for a debuff

@@Lucky69K It is better to have high HP than high defense. Especially against the one turn move opponents. And Guzzlord has a way better stat product than Hydreigon. Last Dragon Tail is hardly different move than the Dragon Claw to run.

Ive been trying to make a team with A-Slash and Chesnaught. Ive had the 3rd as Azu and had success but i feel like it can be better if i can think of a better 3rd. Itll need to Beat Noctowl, and to some degree beat medi or just resist fighting

It's a mythical from raids so impossible to get with lower IVs as it can't be traded

Check out SwagTips Deoxys breakdown, and he talks about DD breakpoints. The attack weight option makes Lanturn and A-nine more comfortable.

Opponent #1, don't run from DD if you're leading with G-Fisk. They really aren't that threatening with non-STAB Counter being their only effective move against you. What are they going to do, Thunderbolt or Rock Slide you to death? Don't think so.

It's winnable if they don't shield the A9, but yeah I've been running this team and A9 is super annoying. It eats a lot of the Lanturn / Trev teams so I guess depends on what you're seeing that day.
