Yes, I saw that some poor peoples canal boat had come away from the moorings, ending up capsized, so sad. Thanks for another lovely journey along the waterway. Happy New Year 🎉

Your right Sue. It’s interesting the Pub is known as the Mucky Duck and the cafe by the service point is called the Laughing Duck both are well worth a visit. 🤔😃👍

The rain here has finally stopped and we have had some good sunshine for the past couple of days but it is very cold. 🥶🥶

Another story: We travelled in a convoy of 3 through the river section you passed to Alrewas where just after the lock is a water point. 2 didn’t need water but our good friend Andy did so we left him there & continued on to Fradley. We then got a call from him he couldn’t start his engine. He had let his diesel tank get so low it sucked in the sediment at the bottom & could he have a tow. Using my boat I went back through 5 locks, the river section again and back to him where he was hitched up to me and taken on to Fradley. Needless to say I was not best pleased with him 😂🦆💕
