I know for a fact, some of them towns are not abandoned because I haven’t been through some of them towns and people still live there only because it’s a small town, and it be kind of empty and certain spots sometimes doesn’t mean it’s abandoned

@@MizzQ I know, right, I drove a motorcycle through Gough and Vidette today and was surprised to see a what looked like a little General Store open and a restaurant named next to it named Annie's Kitchen on the Map. In Gough of all places, that's been deader than dead for decades. Covid brought new city slicker people out to the countryside in droves. Not sure I like it.

Great video, but by definition these aren't quite ghost towns yet. Kite, Georgia though give it another 5 years, as a fellow Georgian though, I would love to see these places myself. Thanks for sharing this

Although small, Kite is not abandoned. I think the buildings in the video are abandoned because they moved. Overall, interesting video. There are a few other towns I disagree on but will have to research. Bartow is not abandoned

As someone who lives in kite we are still here! Slowly the town has been trying to relive itself but we are still a strong little community and growing ever so slowly.

Historically, it's all based on transportation routes...rivers...then railroads...and, now, interstate highways...if your town gets bypassed...well, you see what happens.

I swear Kite is the creepiest town in Georgia. I've never been there, but I've driven very close to it.

Kite GA is home of where the Klan came to the local area. Its current racial makeup tells it all.

I just sold my home in Adrian. It’s small not abandoned. It will be there for a long time considering Dollar General is there.

Yeah, I wouldn't call Adrian abondoned, but driving through there (At night by the way) was a little eerie. I stopped at the Jet gas station in the downtown and it was silent, not to mention there was nobody else there.

Kingston is not abandoned. Also, where is Bartow? I live in Bartow county however I am unsure where Bartow the "town" is located.

Bartow GA is between the town of Wrightsville GA and Wadley Ga.

How very Georgia. There quite a few towns that ain't near counties of the same name. Like Forsyth and Forsyth county, cobb and cobb county, and Monroe and Monroe county. Makes perfect sense😅

Kingston is not abandoned at all lol! Georgia is already home to a lot of cool urbex locations. You don't gotta lie about places being abandoned.
