I know a spot thats exactly the same as this except its packed with 30+ people on Sundays sometimes, where people usually go for stripers! It's always fun chatting and fishing with others, new or experienced fishermen. Tangled lines can be quite common when its a really good biting day.

On piers in South Africa, we can sometimes have 20+ anglers on a very small pier… it’s crazy, but we have learnt how to follow our line as it’s drifting and be courteous towards others when they hook up. Some people are actually scared to fish like this, but I think a video needs to be made on how to actually fish when there are many anglers grouped in a single area.

Reminds me of a few hell holes that I've fished. People casting over your shoulder, no understanding of drift and constantly getting tangled with others. On top of that, everything that can be kept, gets kept and thrown in a bucket of warm water. Great way to ruin good fish.

@@joemo1033 People are not allowed passing the wood board because they don't want you to tread the oysters there. If you have a yak, you can be on water 50 yards away from the dam. But people sometimes are not abiding... The new wood piece added extends into the water making it harder to cross. Well, people will figure out anyway.

I was honestly surprised to see so many Asian folk following the rules and not keeping everything they catch. In Port Arthur, I have never seen one actually follow the rules and just call TPW on every one I see. They always get tickets. I just don’t get it.
