Heya, one of the TSW Additions team members here, thanks for the feature! It was really nice seeing you give Henodus and Sphyrna such high praise, given those two critters really push for our main goal of making the water much more accessible from the start of the game! Also damn are we really up to 11 creatures released already? Just... 30 or so more to go from our custom additions 😵‍💫 (stay tuned, there's some really exciting stuff on our planned roster if you haven't seen it before!)

Cant wait to see more, I never explicitly saw anyone say that making it more accessible in the early game was the goal of the modpack, but thats definitely how it felt to me so you're definitely accomplishing that goal!

I agree with the Moro Raptor and Rex being op. The Rex especially is waaaaay too strong in the wild, much more powerful than even a Giga. The fact that it can just immediately stun you and grab you off your mount and one shot you is completely obscene. Even if you keep your distance and have your tames fight it, the thing has an absurd damage resistance (it must be like 70%) AND if it kills anything it heals for a huge chunk of its hp and gets a damage buff. The only way to safely kill these things is to have a Giga, and if you need to go out of your way to tame the strongest dino in the game to kill a modded one, I think it's fair to say its a wee bit too strong. Oh, and did I forget to mention that the Moro Rex and Raptor can spawn literally anywhere, even in the safe zones? Fun.

@@someguy9970 it’s closer to 80% than 70%, completely overpowered in that regard. It was close to being disqualified for being so strong, but the mod pack is just too cool, couldn’t bring myself to remove it

I’m hoping to have an extinction server up around Valentine’s Day, and I wanted to add that mod as well as a bunch of others. Hoping the mod is updated by then!

i like about half of the creatures in the draconic chronicles, so i just opted to leave it off. its definitely a really well made mod, i just generally think less is more. thats why theres only one huge modpack on this list

So i found a creature mod a couple months ago when i was on ps5 but then i changed to pc and now i cant find the mod it was a creature mod when you knocked out a creature the creature from the mod would rapidly drain the knocked creatures hunger plis tell me what the mod name is

I almost didn’t include the moro duo because of the Rex’s strength, the natural armor is extremely powerful. If they were more balanced, they would’ve been #1

Honestly id look into the curse forge pages for them all, they have the most information about spawns. The Zaldrir dragon definitely spawns on Extinction though. To find the curseforges, there was the exact mod name for them all in the video, and I have all 20 linked on my server

The paleo team ark team is TLC almost every creature that came out before 2017 and they’re adding new creatures as well. So I’d keep an eye out for there mods as they’re well made and made with so much passion for the game. As for them becoming a official TLC for the game depths has said he won’t ever do that as it’s his teams assets and he will keep it that way since they put so much work into them

@ the list of TLC they’re working on his pretty big and as you can see in the Rex and giga models they’re insane they also have they’re paleo native aquatics mod out rn that adds cryptocolidus (may have spelt that wrong) it’s a small plesiosaur and obelisk squid. If I remember correctly mosa is next up and it looks incredible and then ledumahadi (apex herbivore that’ll spawn on maps with deserts) and empirosaurus(a desert spino inspired by the one in terra nova and just the old version of what we thought spino looked like. Like the one in JP3) anky/theri/and pachyceph are next up as well. Like depths commented they have a lot planned for this year since he brought on someone to help rig their models !
