Stree maybe low in rank in Horror genre but it is much higher in Comedy ; and the theatre experience of the film was very good. Like the scene " Aap Sachme aa gayi " and the dance may seem awkward and cringe but everyone was laughing loudly in theatre . It is also really enjoyable mass movie

Some honourable mentions according to me which was really good and reccommended to watch at least once- ~Vaastu Shastra ~Krishna Cottage ~Haunted 3D ~Kaal ~Ragini MMS part 1 ~Question Mark (underrated and probably the first found footage type horror movie from india) ~Click ~Kanchana part 1 (south indian) And yes happy to see Welcome Home at the first spot, good ranking.

I really want to share what happened to me while watching welcome home . I saw a reel about welcome home and was interested in watching it , but couldn't watch it during the day time and finally when i was just scrolling yt shorts the clip of welcome home appeared again ,so i started watching it and I have watched half of the movie and suddenly my net was not working and signals were down too , so I slept and thought to continue later . The next day when I opened my laptop to watch it everything was fine , the wifi was strong and videos were loading fast , but when i played the movie my wifi stopped working as if someone was stopping me from watching that movie but then I just gave a thought that I have tried 2 times and I am unable to watch it completely so I will try one last time to see if I should really stop watching or is it just a co incidence I was waiting until 12 am as my net was finished. after 12 I speed checked my internet and saw few reels and some yt shorts to check if the net coming properly or not , then I played the movie again after 1 min my net was gone again and from that time I have promised myself not to watch that movie

"Bhoot Part 1- the Haunted Ship" is also a great horror movie. But it didn't do well and its sequel was never made. It should have been on this list. It is pure horror with no comedy and has some great horror scenes. Vicky Kaushal has also acted very well in it. Even, "Durgamati" is a great horror movie but could have been a bit lower in comparison to other movies in your list.

Stree dulogy, Bulbul and 1920 should've been in the top 10 and Bhool Bhulaiya should've been on no.1 because it is the best indian horror film, it mixed comedy and horror genre perfectly giving us a masterpiece
