Wow, I had not heard of the Acacia before! I knew of the Pyrite Light from virtually every knife channel hyping it for the past year, never really seemed that interesting. But the Acacia looks like a much better knife, right on! The Kershaw Leek seconds (USA made) are reliably a $30-$35 knife would always make my budget list. Another one to keep on your radar is the Defcon Ultra Lite - 14C28N, crossbar lock, 3 different shapes for $25-$40 depending on where you look. Thanks Greg and keep up the great work for us blue-collar types!

Hey. Focusing on the Riverbank...ya, it dropped and sorta went nowhere on the Channels. I like your version. The first version I saw was pretty 'meh' and it dropped around the time Kizer released some very basic and pretty boring. I do 'celebrate' our wealth of crazy good knives for do able pricing, but basic is basic. This Riverbank seems a great knife to gift to a non-knifer. It has a nice non-scary name and is an easy carry. ✨😺

I wouldn't call micarta a gimmick. Civivi doesn't hold a candle to some of these knives, at least over the last year or two. Civivi of 3 years ago isn't the same as now. So many companies have passed them
