I like big cars with big engines that can move them with little effort.Our current car is a 1997 Lincoln Town Car and we have had other Lincolns that were larger.The Ford 4.6 engine has more than enough power and gets good gas mileage which is a bonus but not that important.When I was 20 I had a 1937 Cadillac with a V12 engine and a friend had a Duesenberg with a big straight eight engine that hit 100 MPH in second gear.

Most of these cars were fairly common.

By 1975 the Charger devolved into a Coroba.

If they had success with the dukes of hazard charger why did they flip it.
@jimmytragle75037 күн бұрын
@@blue4uable I thought so as well. But a google reveals that it is. I don't remember them going from the nice looking charger to that bit of ugly. 1974 was the last year they looked like chargers.

My dad had a 69 Mercury Marquis. That was a boat. I got to use it for a few big deal dates, like proms and homecoming dances. Great car for making out.

I noticed not 1 AMC vehicle was mentioned during that conglomeration, and with no mention of said vehicles, "Vintage Vehicles" has also forgotten about them, as they to were a part of our past lives!

Something stupid about putting mag wheels on a Ford LTD. Typical for guys who did not live back then.

Very misleading headline and many of the cars shown are the wrong model year. I noticed that they tried to hide their mistakes..

Ive heard of wierd features like the cadillac with the automatic dimmer switch but ive never heard of a unique ventilation system that sucks in fumes and rain. I always liked the smell of diesel though so that might have been a neat feature. I wonder if they advertised it that way.

Those are some beautiful car's. Even my youngest son likes the New Yorker. He was 13 when I showed him one of those and he fell in love with it. He's 33 now and still talks about that car when we talk about old cars.

If you never driven one of these land yachts youre missing something. As a caddy fan I'm still driving one now. Its smaller than some of my past dry boats but I evolved from big to fuel efficient. Still hitting potholes by the ton is less impacting on my old bones I had to learn progess isnt for the elderly .

Cars you never heard of...is right. Nobody cared about the Dodge 880 when it was new! Ditto 69 Dodge, 77 Dodge, 80 Plymouth. Those MOPARS were virtually invisible then. i remember clearly how nobody wanted those horrible "fusilage" designed cars. They were like the Nashs of the 50's, they were ugly new and just got uglier.
