I appreciate this video because I started watching soap operas with my mother when I was a child during the 1950's, when soaps were only 15 minutes long. A few of those soaps went to TV from radio, where I first heard them. I was almost addicted to Young and the Restless in the 1970's and taped every show. I introduced my mother to soaps, including Bold and Beautiful in the 1980's. She was amazed that they had gone to i full hour from the 15 minutes they were given in the 1950's. I bought her a VCR, and she started taping the soaps, too. They gave us a common interest until she died at almost 91. Those who never watched soaps - or listened to them on the radio - don't understand the sense of loyalty viewers have to the characters. Thanks for the video. I just wish that AI didn't make so many mistakes in pronunciation and flow.

Why are there so many mistakes in this video?!! They showed Ron Moss' picture when talking about Anthony Adabo but Ron, the original Ridge Forrester, is still alive. Meg Bennett who played Julia was Victor Newman's wife on Young and the Restless and not Eric Forrester's and not Thorne's mom, that was Stephanie Forrester! Andrea Evans was also on Y&R and why did he say she passed in July of 2023 when the headstone they showed said June of 2008. He seems to be getting Y&R mixed up with The Bold and the Beautiful. I couldn't watch any further...too many inconsistencies!
