They did race back in the 2000s with a racing version of the Zonda, they were pretty bad, like the Spyker Squadrons with their C12 for Le Mans

While Pagani cars have incredible performance, they have more lean over towards luxury and prestige, not putting 100% focus into performance (Zonda R is an exception). Just like d0ntashi said above, they tried racing with the Zonda, but it wasn't competitive enough.
@d0ntashi6 ай бұрын
Even worse, it’s more like they didn’t make it reliable, they raced once officially at Le Mans and retired after 10 laps over a gearbox failure. They even tried it at ALMS where the M3 GTR dominated and they ran dead last. They only ran the Zonda GR for two years. You’ll still see it time to time these days, but it’s only at private track day events.

I miss the regular C12 versions on modern racing games, mostly of them keep use the special versions like Cinque or the Pagani Huayra. I saw the Zonda at first time playing Test Drive Unlimited 1.

Best zonda by far. I love the blend of wacky but also restricted. It’s got a crazy quad exhaust and big V12 but a modest 186 mph. Its not trying to kill you

Zonda Tricolore is probably my favorite! Great video! Pagani will always be one of the best!
@kspectre216 ай бұрын
All Pagani's are works of art but I have a special soft sport for the Zonda C12, it may be the oldest but man it's still so beautiful even after all these years and with none of the carbon fibre or aero bits that later models got. Similar story with the Zonda S just being an evolution of that design. I wasn't really that sold on the Utopia when it was unveiled and I think I do still prefer the Huayra but it's grown on me way more now.

The Huayra Codalunga also appeared in a video game. Only one though, Roblox's Driving Empire. It's even properly licensed apparently.
@JPXEO6 ай бұрын
As you said, that is a Roblox game, not an official game. To count for this series, it has to be licensed cars that appear in games that have been made from scratch by developers supported by a corporation/publisher, not games created on a game creation platform where anyone can make a game using the tools provided by the platform.

The C12 S was also in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition and was game-breaking in that game, once you get it anytime during the US Career, it becomes too easy to finish, the Zonda can be unlocked as early as when you open Detroit and win all the motorbike club races, or winning that Cien from the tournament.

@andrejtb16 ай бұрын
@@JPXEO While Driving Empire is indeed a game on the Roblox platform, it still holds significance in the gaming community, especially with the addition of licensed cars. The effort to secure licenses for real cars demonstrates the dedication of its developers to enhance the authenticity and appeal of the game. Roblox games may be built using the platform's tools, but they can still offer high-quality, engaging experiences. Dismissing them simply because of the development platform overlooks the creativity and effort of the developers involved.
