In the 80s a man told me he was a Vietnam veteran. Sometime later I see him shiting and pissing himself because he's scared to death after he saw a Bigfoot smack dab in the middle of the trail in front of me. At that moment he was our ranch hand.

@traviseastlick53425 жыл бұрын
@@starkops it's a long story. I'm not a tech savvy guy. I don't even know how to make an email and send it. I don't know how to send pictures or videos. I do know how to hit the microphone button and I know how to talk on the telephone. To make it real quick, first time I seen one I was for and it was looking through the window while all six kids were sleeping in the room. I was scared to death and had nightmares everyday until I was 14. At age 14 our family built a little farm nestled unto a forest in Bastrop county Texas. After maybe a year of playing hide and go seek with strange things hiding in the woods just Right out of sight. It seemed as though they would play a game like guess who I am or what I am with me until the gig was up and I had my first face-to-face encounter with Big Guy. my first encounter that was face-to-face was the first time that the ranch hand had any inkling that something could be out there so he took it real bad. I used to have a lot of hatred towards that guy because he was behind me and left me long before I even got to see big guy. I didn't see him until I was.... Hell I know I was 2 feet from him. His hand came down about where my waist was. My head was just below his pelvic area and the elbow was near the same mark as he was stooped over at about 12 foot. When I had look back to ask the ranch and what he thought about this, he was long gone running and flailing his arms and legs and I nearly blew my top. It caused a lot of hatred towards him because I felt that he left me there for dead so he can get away and if it would have been like any other day oh, I would have been packing a gun and I would have shot him for running away like that because that is exactly what I wanted to do when I seen him running away and I was standing right in front of this big son of a bitch and every split second was like an eternity... I must have assessed the situation a million times. he hasn't killed me yet and I'm still alive it's okay. I'm still alive it's okay he hasn't stepped on me he hasn't crushed me he hasn't ripped me apart it's okay. I've been around them for a long time every day and they haven't done anything to me it's okay. A million things what's going through my head but thank God big guy understood that I was mad at the ranch hand and not him because when I look back at big guy, he got worried and the look on his face, man he had the look that I scared the living shit out of him and my heart and soul just melted. I knew I was a goner then because I just scared this big son of a bitch. I did the only thing I could do and I just twisted my waist and look back at that ranch hand running away and I turn my hands up like what can I do and drop them back down and turn to face the consequences that is about to be dealt to me and when I turn back big guy was already stoop down again checking me out. When I first saw his face after a very long day that started at his feet and from underneath the brim of my cowboy hat I had to reveal to myself what I was looking at from the bottom up. Oh man this was a big trip for me but once I looked at his face and noticed he was just confused and wondering what the hell this little guy was doing walking up on him. I seen the confusion on his face and then after I look back at the ranch hand been turned back at big guy I seen scared big guy and then it was back to curious. His face was like a smooth elephant skin. He could have been no more than 25 or 30 by the look of his face. He was far bigger than all the others. Most that I know of their is five but hell, there could have been more but I wouldn't know. Whenever they would make too much noise and distract me too much the big guy would shut everybody up by screaming and then the woods would just go dead silent and then I would go back to work. They gave me marbles when I took a pig. The learn to stop letting the chickens out. the big guy killed at 1500 pound hog that was trying to kill me. My second to the oldest brother would not find another means of waking up in the morning and insisted on using a radio at 5 in the morning and waking up everything in the woods and I told him he was going to wake up more than the dead and he wasn't going to like it. One morning after the morning that I came out at 5 in the morning and yelling at him to turn his radio off and wake up because not everybody has to listen to that shit for 30 minutes till he wakes up. The following morning he got up bright and early with no problems because as soon as that radio went off one of the world people or maybe a couple of them went to his trailer and started rocking it or shaking it. He would never talk to me about it and to this day he will never speak of it. he disappeared and nobody knew what happened to him and his wife for three days until he called from Minnesota and said he moved. I remember one night, right at 10:30, big guy came by and wiped his hand on the side of the trailer and leftand as you did that he had this grumbling laugh sound. That scared the living shit out of my sister and she goes asking me what that was because right when he did that to the wall I said openly" what the fuck does he want now I don't have time for this shit" and that freak my sister out and she was asking me what was it what was it and I just told her don't worry about it and that it was just a tree rubbing down the side of the trailer. It was the best lie that I can come up with off the top of my head. with my past experiences with people learning about these things, they just don't work very well. I quickly picked up on the fact that nobody was doing with the fact these primitive wild people living around there so I just kept it all to myself. I acted as though there was nothing going on. If an issue came up that had to do with them, I only referred to the wild people as "them" and I would just wave my hand towards the property line trough the trees. I stopped carrying a gun because there was no need for 1. I stopped wearing a cowboy hat because I was not going to make one of those wild people stick their face in my face just so they can see my eyes again. That's just way too close for comfort but it was okay, his face was just inches from my nose. He wanted to see how the hat set on my head. Never again that I wear a cowboy hat. I'm knocking 50 now and I don't wear a hat in the woods and I wear as little clothing as possible. Shorts t-shirts. I go barefoot it whenever I can. These people are very interested and the details of what we look like. If they want to get a good look at you, they can pick you up like a little rat and do whatever they want with you, best way to handle yourself is leave them with as little questions as possible about you and what your intention is. I would much rather walk through a group of gangsters on a sidewalk but I know what it's like to walk through group of all people. I had two choices, press through them and let them know that I'm going through or I can turn around and present myself as someone who is scared and don't know what I'm dealing with. I chose my safest option and that was to let them know I'm coming. They moved out of the way and I pressed on. It did start a good relationship with this group. This group I'm speaking out here that I walked on was in Minnesota two falls back, around October in Marble MN. The farm life lasted just into the 90's. I avoided many close encounters after I grew up and left the farm. I always love the woods and I always love going camping and still do. I don't have a clue on how to explain to people that once you have this total awareness that you develop after being around those wild people because they could be as quiet as a mouse and then as invisible as the air it's self and I can feel them, smell them. There are no real big perks from knowing them or knowing how 2 barter and deal with them. You either know all about the wild people and don't trust man or you trust man and lack the knowledge of their relevance to our existence. Trying to convince somebody of their existence is impossible without being able to point your finger at 1 and say" see". About a year ago I was able to do just that, I was able to show somebody five of them one day. This happened at race night in hibbing Minnesota.

Story 16 at the 1:04 mark is disturbing. The person telling the story admits to walking through the woods at 3am and then committing at least 5 felonies! Breaking an entering on two dwellings, intimidation with a deadly weapon and unlawful discharge of a firearm when calling out to the guy while in the house and shooting into the roof and then attempted murder by shooting at the man. Does the author realize he's the purp? He should be doing 5-10 in prison.

Before I decided that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher, I wanted to be a Park Ranger. I'm glad I reconsidered. Even though little kids can still be pretty spooky sometimes... The drawings, man. The drawings. Edit: Yes, I know, children see the world through different eyes than an adult, so things that are malevolent or menacing in appearance to us is perfectly innocent to them. Like this kid drew her pet chihuahua. That picture still pops up in my mind's eye from time-to-time. The teeth, the eyes, the proportion of the head. It made Cerberus look like a damn shih tzu.

Camping off the Yellowstone in MT. The camp site has the river to the west a highway on the south side and ranch land all around. I just put out the fire, I used water because of the fire danger and spread the coals. I crawled into my tent and tried to get to sleep, 2 minutes laying down in the tent and I see flickering lights. The fire was restarted, and new logs put in it. I don't think a lot of it and figured maybe I added the logs so i was ready for the morning fire and didn't do a good enough job putting the fire out, so i grab my shovel and throw dirt on the fire crawl back into my tent and try to sleep. 3 minutes after laying down a bunch of cattle and dogs start going nuts from the ranch land. I know the area I am in has had Mountain Lions in the past and has a lot of Coyotes around. I put on my headlamp and grab my pistol from beside me and poke my head out. Looking around I don't see anything until i looked toward the road. Their standing between trees trying to hide themselves is a person halfway between the Highway and the Road staring at my campsite. There was no vehicle around but my own so I know the guy wasn't just stopping for a piss. I yell "Can I help you?" I swear nodded his head slightly then moved behind one of the trees so i couldn't see him clearly. When he did that the Cattle from the ranch just started going nuts. I hold my pistol and the ready and step out of my tent and every time i tried looking toward the guy he kept moving away from sight. I turn away from him and he started getting closer to my camp. I figured screw this busted down my camp while keeping my lamp on the guy. I have never busted camp that quickly in my life. I have talked to others that have tried camping in that site and most of them have had similar experiences when camping alone their.

Omg!!! The camping story.... something that happened to me too. Me and a couple of my friends were camping, well not exactly camping... we were in my backyard which is very big with a small forest section in it. We thought it would be creepy to set the tent near the so called forest area, and tell each other scary stories before going to bed. So at like 12 of night we heard loud footsteps on the grass and then a growing sound. We were all awake and then something violently shook the tent. We all screamed and whoever did that started laughing hysterically. We were just too freaked out to realize my parents pranked us. They betted 500 roubles that we would run away from the tent, into the house before it got completely dark. They won the bet.... And until the morning we didn’t know it was a prank.

I love your background sounds. I feel like I'm sitting on a back porch at night listening to the sounds of the forest. I live out in the country and we have those sounds but it's just too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter to sit out and listen❤

Anyway you could have less ads?... I'm a huge fan, love your voice, but I Always listen to stories, particularly scary ones, as a way to go to sleep, and sleep soundly...ads put a HUGE halt on the "sound" part of the "sleep" bit. Lol not sure of circumstance, so is a genuine serious question. Thanks! Still love your stuff 💜

He didn't shoot it bc he knew it would be Fd up to kill an endangered species with no business being there. People think anything is a pet. Yo, check my baby couches. They called loveseats, love my pet grenade etc. Idiocracy the movie coming true exponentially. Cool story

I've camped with my friends and family hundreds of times in the bush in the middle.of no where and never ever had a single problem whatsoever yet bearly every time we camp at a campsite we've had groups of people try to ransack our camp I've had a guy stalk me during the day and sneak into our camp at night. Had cougar search our camp and chased it out with a bear gun and so many more crappy things .. I'd rather take my chances in the bush then a campsite

to be fair...Ocala has alot of wild animals due to silver springs closing--silver springs was a park with wild animals. There are macques as well as other wild animals that you'd find in a zoo literally roaming the woods.

yo idk if you narrated these yourself or if you commissioned someone, but they need to work on voice acting. mispronunciations, seemingly random sentence pacing making them skip/slur over words, and weird emphasis on words or parts of sentences. still a great vid! good work :)

Story 10 really creeps me the fuck out. Hearing about the body hanging there with the trees having no branches makes me think of the conjuring. I'm surprised he didn't say that he heard the sound of the rope as the body was just hanging there.

Look up the 411 missing cases by David Paulides. True stories of missing persons who went into the deep woods. Why risk your life? Take it from someone who used to hike in the woods, until that strong feeling of terror of being watched started. Then running across very strange people on the trails that made your skin crawl. Never again. It's not worth it.

The story about the guy who was just randomly entering buildings in the woods at night, who then just discharged his gun into the ceiling just because he suspected somebody was in there. That asshole is just an asshole. If the guy killed him, it would have been self defense; devil worshiper or no.

I loved the man's response to the woman who was following them through the woods! She was looking for easy victims! It's crazy she had the nerve to have an attitude, because he saw her intent, and wouldn't just accept being her victim! Bye Felicia!
