The wreath is beautiful. Perhaps cut out a circle of cardboard and adhere to the back of the wreath which would help secure the ornaments and save glue.

Hi Jody. Seems like a hundred years ago that I was doing ceramics. Actually it was only 41.😮 I made a little ceramic tree that had little mice hiding in the branches with the little jewels for lights. Used it for years and gave it to my grandmother. My granddaughter has it now. I hope my great grandchildren will enjoy it for years to come.

I believe that on the pine cones it would look good to use puffy paint. And would be easier. And you could still use some glitter if you wanted.

Hi. When you have to handle small things like that tiny snowflake, pick up the snowflake from the back with tweezers. Or make an applicator like I did. Use heavy card stock, the junk mail that comes from different sources is perfect. Cut a piece of heavy card stock one inch by 3 inches, then fold in half, short side by short side. Use masking tape to wrap around the folded over card stock to make the handle with the sticky side on the card stock. Then, pull off a short piece of masking tape with the sticky side out. Fold the first short end of the tape back on itself onto the card stock at one end. With the other end of the tape pull it over the top (short end) and fold under the other end of the tape with the sticky OUT. Take a long piece of tape, and starting from the folded over end of masking tape, tape down the folded under ends and gradually wind down to the "holder" end. Pick up small things, put glue on the back and place where you want it. I use lots of rhinestones in my crafting, and I use this tool to pick up rhinestones, glue the back and carefully glue the sides and place the rhinestones where I want it. I am right handed so the tool is in my right hand. Then pick up the tweezers and hold down the stones and pull the tool with the masking tape off. I hope this works for you. Sincerely, Rebecca

The concept of the Birch logs are a really cute idea, but if it were real Birch, the bark would be the other direction. The 'lines' on Birch are horizontal. Other than that messing with my brain, these ideas are really, really cute!! 💕✨🥰

Boy! I am SO happy to know that there are others that things like that bother you- ME TOO... so it wasn't the birch tree lines that got me- it was her dang fingernails! Knowing she was making a tutorial- would it be so hard to take a little remover and take the remainder of the polish OFF?!? She has such a soft beautiful voice and I swear I couldn't keep my mind on what she was saying. Bring on the bashing me, but I can't help that I am OCD. I literally couldn't watch the entire video 🥲

It’s easier to make a bow without a bow maker. Use wired ribbon. Leave a tail, and make as many loops as you like, paying attention to the “pretty” side of the ribbon facing up, leave another tail and secure the center of the ribbon with a pipe cleaners. Ten fluff the loops and cut the ribbon tails as desired.

I have been saving the blue tops from Core water because they look like tree trunks. I figure one day, when I get back to tree making I will have another option. I have saved many things over the years to use as trunks/bases for trees, even glass candlesticks.
