Absolutely adorable. 😊 I would also recommend going over the chalk paint on the outside of the mug with matte Mod Podge, from my experience chalk paint will scratch off of glass once it’s dry. The Mod Podge will help to seal the paint allowing it to last much longer.

You could also use paint that's meant to be applied to glass (ex. FolkArt multi-surface acrylic) which can be cured in the oven to strengthen it and even make the objects dishwasher safe!

A lot of my son's friends (who are like son's to me) are college age, the cup with candy socks and candy is a great gift idea! These college kids are always wearing these types of socks and different theme socks. Will be gift giving these this year!

Very creative! Suggestion: consider a video using sustainable materials. When these ornaments eventually end up in a landfill, there are so many micro plastics to pollute our waterways and the oceans, particularly the glitter and foam. Wood, glass, paper, sand, rocks, dried flowers, vines, lichen, moss…there are plenty of lovely natural options.

I made candles like your milk and cookie cup. I colored wax to make the coco and made the cookies out of a lighter color.and small chips of dark brown wax to make the chocolate chips. They turned out great.
