Hahaha 😂 Well Becky you need a good man to snuggle up to you while y’all watch the video. Then ya won’t need those 2 blankets in a 70 degree house. 😂🤣 But I know what ya talking about sometimes i can be in the warmth and watch these KZbin videos where they’re in freezing cold 🥶 temps & it makes me feel colder too. I think It’s a psychological thing that tells one’s Brain it’s cold so they’re cold is why. I was watching Simple Living Alaska’s latest video tonight also and Eric and Arielle was cutting trees 🌲 for firewood in 40 below zero Fahrenheit temps. Brrrrrrr 😬🥶 and I felt like grabbing your two blankets and stealing them form you...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Joas hope you didn’t push your feet to hard you only have two of them for your whole life, i remember as a young child my grandmother took me fishing at our lake not tom far away about 20 miles. After fishing we stopped at a friends of hers. The house was a very old looking like it was abandoned. She knocked on the door and wow what a surprise. This lady was making fried bread on a wood kitchen stove and i can still smell it today. Then she sprinkled icing sugar on the pieces and i think i may have ate my weight in fried bread. Well me being about 6 or so thought I died and went to heaven! How certain things take you back to your childhood….take care Millers!

My grandmother taught me to make fried dough like that. Not in one solid piece, but she'd out smaller individual pieces in pan an fry them, so good. She'd have butter or confectionery sugar to put on it. Thank you for taking us along,it was great seeing everything. Congrats on catching 2 burbank, don't know if that's how you spell it. I said a little prayer for you to catch some, even though you you had. But when you mentioned that you'd really like to catch some. Great video.

The winter before my husband passed we snowmobiled to the lake by our cabin ,here in Michigan, it was so cold but we ice fished and drank hot chocolate in our ice tent.very good memories.

This brought back so many memories. I remember how hard it was walking in the snow at times. Joas, I am praying you didn't hurt your ankles there. Despite the cold and the lugging sleds, etc., all of that fresh air and cabin food had to be fabulous. I remember waking up in minus 40 celius temperature frozen, trying to light the wood stove. When that was done and warm coffee and breakfast, it was out fishing for trout. The skidoo trails and the wildlife you see along the way, as well as the majestically sceneries, are breathtaking to see. That restaurant food looked yummy the next day. I am so happy you had this experience. It would be great if all of you could get away like this for a couple of nights for the children to experience it with you both. I had a Bravo skidoo that belonged to the clinic thatI did home sick visits with day or night no matter the weather. For please I had an ancient Elan with a worn down track and worn out ski rods. That was hilarious on ice. I walked it more than I rode it. One time there was a huge storm on and it was nighttime. I had to go over a hill. To my surprisement there was a huge snow drift and blizzard conditions. I didn't know anything until I took flight and I knew I better hang on for dear life. The elan flew into the air and came down hard and fast about 40 feet. Not a scratch or an ache. I felt like a champ. That story is still told by the villagers today. They were all not so awesome experiences, though. But all of the memories are great to have. Hey, I was happy for the fish you got also. Get back to your treaty Joal and feel better soon. May the good Lord continue to richly bless you all always.❤
