Fun Fact: Alton tower is actually a theme park and NOT hotel. SEGA wanted to team up with Alton towers and made Sonic Spinball, one of the many rides at Alton towers.

Sonic is one of the most iconic video game characters of all time, and possibly along side with Mario. I mean his franchise started since 1991, with him being Classic Sonic, but was simply known just as "Sonic the Hedgehog" (which is a cool 2D game but it's pretty MID) He first appeared in this racing game as a key chain figure in 1990, although I don't remember the game exactly. Then Sonic rose again in 1992 with the 2nd Sonic game, which actually is one of the best 2D Sonic games. Then even a TV show came, and ridiculously I don't remember the year it came out. Like, look how far the series has gotten with video games, TV shows, and even movies based on the blue hedgehog. Definitely one of the best video game series of all time, from 1991 to 2023 so far. It is pretty weird that they were even some Creepypastas based on this guys, such as Sonic.Exe. W Video, Chris!

The robot in Sonic X’s intro was from a pilot for Sonic X. There’s other scenes from that pilot in there as well. The intro also showed that the show was to take place in Sonic’s world since it includes a scene running into a cafe with other anthropomorphic animals.

I definitely want to see more of these videos. It's really cool to learn things about the franchise you otherwise would never have thought of. I knew some of these, but stuff like the Brazilian Government using Sonic music for a video about the construction of a Viaduct was very interesting, silly, and cool all at the same time. The fourteenth fact, though, is cut out for some reason, so I hope you could make that into short or something because I'd like to know what you had to say there. As always, great video, Chris! :)

Half of these Sonic facts I didn’t even realize. I’m actually pretty surprise that the voice actor for Mario made a Sonic Commercial. I did know that the voice actor for movie Tails was in Sonic Colors for Voice actor but then went into Super Mario odyssey for voice Acting. I never Cream the Rabbit was supposed to look like a tiger before Cream the Rabbit design fully came out. I never knew In Sonic Riders Sonic say the same thing from the Sonic and Secret ring Trailer. I never knew that Sonic Team found a statue that was all dirty and dusty but then Sonic Team fix the statue and it was back to normal. Great video Chris)

I have a useless fact and that is 2 of the sonic voice actors now r actually the voice actors of some characters in the dubbed version of an anime called naruto and those 2 r Roger Craig Smith (the VA of sonic) is the VA actor of a character called deidara and Kirk Thornton (the VA of shadow rn) has voice acted 3 characters in naruto and they r kisame,kabuto and a bridge builder

Actually, Maurice is a thing they did in Archie, and his first name has never been spoken in that comic, so Oglive is not a thing in that comic, it’s only a concept that has never been used. And when the Genesis Wave rebooted the comic, his real name is Sonic the Hedgehog like in the games. The Brown hedgehog was a thing they did in the Sonic Bible, which was a early western Canon thing they retconned in the West when SA1 came out in that side of the world, that idea of Sonic originally being a Brown hedgehog was used in the Fleetway Sonic the comic.

Them reusing voice clips isn't really uncommon. Sonic 06 homing attack at 2:29, and if you played any of the spin-off games like Sonic & Sega All-stars racing, or Sega Superstars tennis, you'll know they reused tons of voice clips. They kept doing it with Roger as well, in Sonic & all-stars racing transformed, for example, one of his lines is "you totally got me this time" which was taken from the opening cutscene from Sonic Generations, which is the game most of his voice clips were taken from. Also, Sonic Chronicles isn't canon and never got a sequel because Ken Penders saw similarities between the Nocturnus clan and his dark legion from the comics. Also (again), unfortunately I knew all of these facts. (I didn't get to learn anything new because I already know too much)
