I already ranted about how much I love this game on the original VOD, so I’ll just toss some random thoughts out here. 1. I hope he’ll consider getting the Portal 2 Level Pack. If not, he already has the game, so he can at least play the Portal 2 Story Mode Level. (Pssst! Alpharad! If you’re reading this, it’s Level 7!) 2. I’m such a hyper-mega-nerd when it comes to this game that I wanted to crawl through my phone and yell tips at him like, “FINN IS AN ACROBATIC” or “YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUILD IF YOU DON’T WANT TO”. 3. Alpha couldn’t save Big, but it was impossible in the moment. He needed the fourth keystone, which doesn’t unlock until after completing Story Level 4. R.I.P. Big the Cat, who drowned in a giant coffee cup in the Breakfast Kingdom.

The thing with Lego dimensions is its remembered incredibly fondly for the individual level packs like the sonic game, whereas the entire main campaign kinda falls to the side. For example this game has the best Dr who video game of all time inside it with every single doctor at that point playable with their own Tardis. The Simpsons Game was basically hit and run 2. Its easily the best ET Game ever made for obvious reasons. The Back to the future game had 4 versions for each time period and it even made Ghostbusters 2016 a good movie because those levels were really fun. The biggest thing that lets this game down is ironically the team up aspect with the main campaign, because the video games inside the video game were better than the actual game itself.

I absolutely loved this game on PS3. Still remains one of my favorite "Toys to Life" games. If I had to list some of my favorite things from this game they would be: Favorite level: Level 4: A Dalek-table Adventure. Favorite interactions: 1. Sonic, if you have the Doctor on the Toy-Pad. I'm glad to see LEGO Dimensions get some love, it's a shame how financially inaccessible it is. I was fortunate to buy some of the packs at retail prices (especially the Sonic Level pack). I think part of the reason the Sonic pack is so expensive now is because it was an exclusive Minifig of Sonic that was never rereleased, not even in the new sets. Also LEGO was perhaps the most suitable company for a Toys to Life game because there is actual value for the toys, even if you exclude the game.

Lego Dimensions is still one of my favourite games. Also, the hub world for the Sonic content in this game shows that it's possible to have classic Sonic locations as one massive island to run across. Which means if we ever get another game like Frontiers, there's a chance they could make the world design similar to that.

Now that I'm seeing this again, I realize that a LEGO Sonic game would be a GREAT concept. Think about it, you have a large roster of characters with specific strengths and weaknesses, and expansive levels with sections that apply to each one's skill set. That's BASICALLY Sonic!

This game is severely underrated. I recommend playing the rest of the game and getting as many expansions as you can, they’re 100% worth playing. It’s one of the better LEGO games overall

For those of you that don’t know, there’s actually a glitch in the game that I discovered with my brother and only saw one other place on KZbin. You just have to get a character to jump inside a car and as they are, blow up the car and if done right, it will make the character you’re playing as invisible. Not to the enemies but it’s still pretty cool.
