🌹Jennifer!!! I didn't watch the video yet but I'm so happy you are back. And I swear, I was JUST thinking about you today... How is that possible? I was thinking that it would be good to see your face and see how you're doing, your current mood, and things like that, and here. we. are! :)) I'm so happy to see you!!! 🌹 Omg... Body care and fragrance is exactly where I'm at as well! I feel like in terms of makeup, what else can we possibly be surprised by at this point? Plus for me (and I'm sure it's the same for most of your subscribers as well) there is no need to buy makeup not only for the rest of my life but I probably got enough for 20 lifetimes or more... I had a major surgery at the end of September that left me recovering in bed for almost 3 weeks. And during these three weeks of wearing ZERO makeup, I really saw the difference in my skin's appearance. So that was a major factor in my decision to ease up on makeup as well... And I'm really starting to see that past a certain age less is REALLY more. I mean there is an art to applying less of course... Another thing I learned is when we are always wearing makeup we almost stop accepting our face without it but when life forces us to cope, a few days in, you begin to see that it's really not that bad. You see the beauty in the fact that when someone sees you up close, they see your skin and not a layer of foundation, that you can lean against something with your face and not be afraid to leave a mark, you can wear a hat that will touch your eyebrows and you don't have to worry too much about your brows disappearing when you take it off... Just little things like that... And I swear, I find it kind of liberating to truly feel that I don't need to always be in makeup. I mean, I still wear a bit, but on a daily basis, I'll just do mascara, eyeliner, a bit of blush, and maybe some brow gel (I do tint my brown though)... But I don't worry too much about having perfectly shaped brows and spending 10 minutes to achieve that look or feel the need to always wear eyeshadow... I don't know why I wrote all that LOLLL I just wanted to share that because this is my current status in life, in terms of makeup consumption and utilization... LOLLL The worst thing is that even though I just wrote all that, I already have the Mario eyeshadow palette (is it NOT beautiful ?!) in my cart and a few other things, waiting for Black Friday... LOLLL But, MOSTLY, this is where I'm at... :))) Just don't want to be afraid of not wearing makeup anymore because before, I swear, I wouldn't even talk to the mailman if I didn't have my makeup on... 😂😂😂 Jennifer! Don't disappear!!! I hope that everything is going well in your life... 🌹🌹🌹 I'm watching these videos backwards so didn't watch the second one yet... P.S. Jennifer!!! If you like La Roche and you want a more nurturing cream for winter, look up their moisturiser... First, happy recovery! Surgery just puts so many things on pause. Second, you thinking about me and I upload, your manifesting game is on point lol! I think a lot of us who’ve been into makeup for 10+ years are really, been there, done that, see the new stuff and generally left unimpressed. Less is more on the face and in our drawers 😉. I picked up the Mario palette bc I thought it’d be warmer than the photos based on swatches, but it is still quite cool, so not for me. I do think the formulas in it are superior to his other palettes. I’ve tried an LPR lipikar balm, but not the eczema one and that sounds awesome, adding to my list - thank you! 💕💕💕
