For the delay you can also automate the on/off button instead of the knob, if you go under 50% (off) it will kill the delay and ignore input until you put it on again.
@Ryos5 жыл бұрын

@@Ryos Hey something that has just came to my attention: When you want to copy/paste a automation clip state, you don't need to go via the top left corner and articulator. There is a symbol like a jaw spanner in the upper right of the automation clip settings where you can do the copy/paste state directly. I think it is a bit easier that way, but just my opionion ;)

A little shortcut for copying the automation state, instead of going into the parameters window you can just right click the automation symbol in the top left of the pattern; and all the articulation tools are right there. @happy pibble I've been on Ableton and Logic and I just enjoy FL's piano roll and midi editing a LOT more, and I also like the arrangement view and patterns etc. the workflow just works for me, mixer routing and so on as well and the way you can easily link anything to anything to modulate
@funkyboy33265 жыл бұрын
@happy pibble The comment was mostly a joke. I personally like the piano roll and freedom to put anything anywhere in the playlist. Other daws like ableton might be better for live performance or pro tools for audio recording. These days most mainstream daws are quite good so it is just a matter of finding one that suits your needs.

Smart Disable Plugins is useful for more than saving CPU. Some plugins create persistent sounds whenever they are active, so that your open project will generate noise even when your track isn't playing. As soon as I saw this tip I knew this was the answer. I went and tried it right away, and it solves this irritating issue. Thanks you!
@DanielGarrickMusic5 жыл бұрын
Great to see other producers being very organised, too :). Btw when grouping playlist tracks together, just right click and press "g" instead of selecting it from the drop down menue. Also for inserting a new track just right click and press "i". That'll speed up things a lot! :)

Ryos I literally have no words! Fkn amazing . And that drop was so lit! And Ryos you can copy Automation curves more easily. Instead of going to the drop-down menu everytime you double-click the automation, just click the wrench icon in the right side of the automation window. There you can copy and paste automation curves. Another tip is that we can easily make lfos. Double click the automation to get the window and then click the lfos option in the left side. You can adjust skew, amount speed and the rate. Lastly, for audio tracks we can create a quick volume automation. Click in the wave looking icon in the top left of the audio clip in the playlist (not double click) and on the options there is an option for automation and you can automate the volume and panning. Good thing is that the automation is automatically adjusted to the length of the audio clip in the playlist.
