In 1961, our FFA class toured a meat packing factory in Mansfield, Ohio, where we saw pigs being slaughtered. I won't tell you about that as it was gross. But I will tell you about how they made hot dogs. They took the odd cutting of meat and put them in a huge mixer, then they added fillers with a scoop shovel from a 50 lb bag. and other shovels full of other stuff, unknown. But the man mixing all these things together was smoking and his ashes were falling in the mixer. Believe me that the meat added to the mixer was not more than 30 % of the total stuff added to the mixer. And when he had added all these things together, there was stuff on the floor that he needed to also add, as part of his clean up efforts. The thing that I did not like about this idea was that we all (our Class) had just walked the whole way through the meat processing plant and we had just walked through the very same spot just minutes before, he scooped up the stuff off the floor and added it to the mixer. So, wow, I stopped eating hot dogs after that day.

I ran a McDonald's for six years. They DO NOT have 100% beef in their burgers. It says right on the box they contain soy and other additives. Their fries are one of the worst things you could eat next to the burgers. They are full of BHT and other preservatives. McDonald's food literally mummifies itself when it sits out. I've done inspections and found chicken Nuggets, burgers and fries beneath the counters and grill. Dry like artificial versions of the food. You could put them on a shelf and display them forever This is what you are putting in your body.

Where do you all come up with these weird lies
@johnwilliams8818
@johnwilliams8818 Жыл бұрын
My aunt used to work at a processing plant that produced McDonald's patties. One, they are not 100% beef; the amount they add to the mix is, but the rest is fillers and binders. They don't even season the patties; McD's has a seasoning they put on after they cook them. Who knows what's in that? Granted, this was about 45 years ago, but she said the guys who worked the graveyard shifts were nasty and used to dare or bet each other to "Do" or "Put" things in the mixing vats. Think as gross as you can, and it was probably worse. @DanielJohnson-ec8rk What about any of this is "Weird" or "Lies"? A lot more life happens for a 50-year-old than a 25-year-old. It's called "Experience".

@@johnwilliams8818 I’m definitely not a 25 year old and both my kids worked at McDonald’s. They season with only salt and pepper. Their beef is 100% beef with nothing else
@johnwilliams8818
@johnwilliams8818 Жыл бұрын
@@DanielJohnson-ec8rk That's simply not true. The season mix they sprinkle on the patties contains a blend that includes salt, pepper and a beef based seaoning. I know this because I have family that works at, manages for, McD's. I also had a convinience store that had a McD's built into it. The patties are 100% Beef, but there is more to a steer that just meat, bonemeal is a filler, and while they did stop adding the pink slime (made from consumable odds and ends) there is fat and bone tallow (rendered fat) which acts as a filler and binding agent. Dont get me started on the quality of the cattle they use either. 🤢🤮 Which is not unique to McD's. Commerically raised mass produced beef is filled with hormones and antibiotics and whatever chemicals get into the food pellets, fertilizers, insecticides, GMO corn...

In the UK, we get around the Worcestershire Sauce issue by just calling it 'Wuster' Sauce though some may call it Wuster-Sha sauce. I've had many USA trips and American bacon is almost inedible. It's very fatty and here it's called 'Streaky Bacon', and it's the cheaper version than our regular cut, 'Back bacon', which has a fraction of the fat. Many US food products aren't allowed into Europe as they don't pass EU standards, especially with additive levels and 'enhancements'. USA beef, for instance, has too high a hormone and antibiotic level and only organic grass-fed US beef gets in. The chlorine-washed chicken also can't be imported. As another example, the Cadbury Dairy Milk in the USA has a different formula than the UK version. Can't even import a classic to the USA without it getting messed with.

Some things are about context. For instance, we learn in grade school that the Inuit/Eskimo don't waste anything of the animals they kill, consuming everything and using what's left for daily tools and objects (exactly how true that was is debatable). That's a good thing. Hot dog meat is a grind of everything left at the end of the meat production but is considered gross and a bad thing.

I haven't eaten at a fast-food place in many years. Yesterday, a friend and I ate at a local Outback Restaurant. Above my shoulder on the wall was a plaque that explained that the beef used at the restaurant was grain-fed beef from the Mid-west. Why would a restaurant brag on that point? Cattle were never meant to eat grains but grass. Why doesn't Outback and other restaurants that serve beef serve grass-fed beef? Another company, Omaha, which sells meat through the mail, can't hold a candle to organic, grass-fed beef. I e-mailed them once to see if they had any, the answer was, "No."

20. McDonalds burgers considered bad because a meat grinder is used. 19. Byproduct of human hair in bread. I don't have a problem with this one either. 18. doesn't exist. Their video is also messed up and displays wrong numbers. 17. salt water in chicken and beef. Not too sure, but what can you do? 16. bugs in Jelly beans. A good source of protein, but normally too disgusting to eat. 15. Sheep wool in chewing gum. Gum is not meant to be eaten. Chew and discard it. 14. Carbon Monoxide in packaged meat. Check the smell to confirm it isn't spoiled. 13. Not all Orange Juice is made from oranges. Sometimes it's corn syrup and flavor. 12. BPA in canned tomatoes. It's also found in ALL plastic bottles. 11. Aged Worcestershire sauce of one particular brand. No comment. 10. Pringles made from wheat, rice, and potato flakes. All potato products cause cancer? 9. Bugs in canned mushrooms and cherries. Still safe to eat. 8. Bacon is high in salt and fat. Issues with processing in some brands. 7. Something about fish bladder in beer. So long as it tastes good... 6. Hotdogs are made of salt and misc meat trimmings. 5. Lots of health issues with Energy Drinks. Drink responsibly. 4. Red food coloring is made from a bug. A non disgusting way to eat bug. 3. Mold and high calories in blue cheese. I personally don't eat it. 2. Small amounts of arsenic in apple juice. Drink in moderation. 1. Vanilla flavoring made from beaver butts. It still doesn't deter me.

None of those 20 items are safe for human consumption. If you think moderation is an excuse than why does America have 2 to 3 times the amount of health disease than even China has where the population there is almost 7 times higher? Over 90% percent of the food sold in grocery stores is man-made, even apples are man-made with over 7000 acidic varieties, the original apple is supposed to be alkaline and smaller than a pea. The original potato came from Peru when the Irish ventured there long ago, they kept selectively breeding the native variety into a larger white strain which eventually caused a wipe-out of their entire crops according to data on the Irish potato famine. What saved them was going to the oceanic rocks after the tides left and they consumed the all natural Seamoss/Irish moss which has close to 95% of the nutrients your body needs. Nature is already there that kept life going but people turned to convenience which sacrificed their lifespans.

The US food laws are all designed to eventually make you ill and thus feed the very expensive health industry, here in the UK we have extremely tight food additive laws and a National Health Service that is free, by having such stringent food laws our citizens are eating much more healthily than US citizens and thus less hospital visits which keeps NHS costs lower.

@@warriormanmaxx8991 don't know why you put the word religious in quotation marks. No, I do not care showing anything, especially to people I don't know (don't even really have most social media). Why do you care so much, though? It feels like you completely ignored the point of the comment, but you did bother to reply just to bash me for uttering the word God. Yes it is made with 100% pure beef it's just not all hamburger. What makes it taste different is there as a percentage of liver added to the hamburger to give it to different flavor check it out and try it at home! They use liver in their hamburger to change the flavor

Well, here's the culmination of watching this entire video. I'm still going to eat all this stuff. Nothing going on here that hasn't already been documented in the past. I'm 61 years of age, 5ft 10ins and I weigh 79 kgs, and I eat whatever I want when I want. It's all about portion sizes and a balanced diet. I eat all types of food including all meats, yes and bacon too. I even eat a really unhealthy doner kebab, once a month as a tasty treat, but I eat my veggies too, and drink 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day. I ran the London marathon when I was 59. If you eat a BALANCED diet, and get regular exercise, you can eat whatever you want. If we listen to all this scaremongering we wouldn't eat anything. Lighten up people.
