Excellent. Thank you Tammy. Sewing is a very expensive hobby and inaccessible to many so free patterns are great. I appreciate all the free items so much. And im sure many do. My favourite free pattern is The Bateau Top by Friday Pattern Company. It's the first knit top I've manage to get to fit me 😂

I’m so excited to try the trousers pattern! I came across some amazing fabric at a thrift store in a beautiful slightly shiny polyester black. When I saw it I knew I had to find a good pattern for trousers for this fabric. It’s perfect for it. And I got 3 1/2 yards for $2.99 USD! How could I possibly lose lol! I am always delighted to see your videos. Always so helpful to me as a beginner. I just started sewing about 6-7 months ago. So I haven’t made very much …. Yet! lol Question, does the elastic thread used for shirring work well in the sewing machine? And does it also work well in the bobbin? Do I need to use a specific size needle? I am using a Singer Heavy Duty 44S. Not many bells and whistles, but very strong machine. Goes through my boyfriend’s thick leather jacket and guitar straps with ease. Any advice on the shirring would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🦋
