First time Android user coming from iOS. I love my Galaxy S9+ and all of the customization available. Many of my friends using any Samsung phone recommend using a launcher such as Nova. Yes, that is true. People criticize Samsung UI but trust me it much better in looks as well as in performance (not optimum tbh), I think Samsung UI is most featured packed UI in any smartphone.

Here's another tip which I just found out myself. When you swipe right in your home button at the navigation bar and hold it, it brings up the recent apps and you can slide more to the right to go to your other recent or just do a quick swipe right and it will open up the most recent instead of double tapping the recent button

The drop down quick menu where you have notifications and bluetooth, wifi etc. you can click on the word underneath the symbol and it will show wifi options for example without taking you to settings

Your top 20+ were a lot better than many of the others...convinced me to subscribe to your channel. That said, I followed one bit of advice and got in a little trouble. Regarding Special Access -> Optimize Battery Usage. You said to turn it to All Apps and then change what's needed. Well, there's a gazillion things listed there and now I wish I'd left this in whatever default state it was in and just scrolled through to find any that I might have needed turned on. How can I get this back to the way they were set when I got the phone? Thanks.

OMGoodness this was SO helpful. I had Nova Launcher on and it was hiding a lot of the settings so I got rid of that. With the PixelizeD theme, can you change the background pic without losing the icon style? I am visually impaired and I need a darker background but I love the icon design in this theme. also, when you're in camera, you can take selfies by touching the rear sensor next to the back camera. if you are in the dark, test it out it glows red and then snaps the picture. i wanted to point this out as it wasnt in the video. :)

I don't know if you mentioned the Edge Lighting in another video, but I think it's a pretty neat feature on the S9+, but for the LIFE of me I can't get it to work when my phone it off and I know it's supposed to since it's an option. I've literally gone through and tried every setting combination that I can think of. I know it's a common problem from reading other threads, but I'm wondering if maybe you know how to actually get it to work. It works when my screen is on and I'm using the phone, but it doesn't work when it's off which is when it would come in the most handy, I think. I feel like maybe it's an issue Samsung has to patch up, but figured I'd ask just in case!

I'm not really encountering the same issue. Have you configured which apps use the edge lighting? It's in the same menu and I use a few different apps with it. Also I changed the pattern and width of the light to see it better. It works with the screen both on and off!
