I think that the Assassins creed 2 cape is a pretty good one lorewise. You collect those feathers to honor the memory of Ezio's little brother that got murdered mercilessly, and the last cape you unlock by collecting those feathers is nothing more than the Auditore Cape. The Auditore Cape raises your social status to notorious, destroys your stealth, both guards and citizens alike will turn their eyes on you, everyone knows of the Tragedy in the Auditore Family, but they'd rather avoid you or attack you than help you, but you won't be afraid, because you wear that cape to Honor your family, showing your Bravery and the cowardess of everyone else at the same time. You can't help but feel so Powerful wearing it.

I don't think it counts as Roasting, but in Hi-fi Rush, they introduce an enemy type that you can't beat and are suppose to lose to, but after a cutscene you'll gain an ally that can make that enemy vulnerable. However, if you beat the game and replay the level, you can use that new ally to beat the 'unbeatable' enemy, and the game will break the fourth wall saying 'hey, this isn't suppose to happen, what now?" And then they play the cutscene anyways.

To be more precise, it's a grant wishing monolith ending. There are several variations of this ending, depending on your character statistics. They are all false, non Canon endings. The true ending is in a different place.

Assassins creed 2’a case is different as these fevers are the only thing left from main character’s little brother before his execution, and for our mother it is really important. The fevers are located on the locations near the missions so u can collect most of them just by passing the story mode. We are granted a heart breaking cut scene and I rather die than say that it was made just for a prank! This game raised me the one I am today.

For New Vegas, considering that you can still earn a solid 30000 caps before getting kicked out (which means full equipment or one of the bonker Gun Runner Arsenal weapons), it's not that much of a deal. As for Stalker, it's more of a case of ignoring one of the obvious main quests and thinking that the Wish Granter is real in a crapsack world (basically lacking any saviness, and yes, all the other wishes get you killed as well).

While i havent played it yet, sadly, ive been told that Tales of Destiny punishes the player for cheap auto leveling by forcing you into a battle with the main villain, Barbatos. This only happens when all the charactera are left on auto for 20 minutws straight. And he also punishes you for trying to beat him near the end of the game on the easiest difficulty in the game. Small side note is that he also locks out usage of any items, if you attempt to use items, he will steal them from you.

Ok but the Fallout NV one isn't really a troll. For starters you can win a nice nest egg before being banned from all the casinos. And for seconds, casino's in real life ban you if you win too often or too much at games. Normally ones you can card count at like blackjack.

The stalker one isnt a punishment, its one of the bad endings, like there's immortality (getting a ton of first aid kits), getting rich (having tons of money), there's the ruler one where you have to kill both factions and the one where all of humanity dies

I got that secret ending in the witness, it was pretty when you finally find it, and was much cooler than the elevator ending, as you were looking for puzzles irl, just like after playing the witness itself, it was very trippy!

I just find it kinda dumb how he says that ending is "hard to get not many people can do it" when all you have to do is trace a line down from the sun at the start. hell i know people myself included that got that ending first try without even thinking about it. sorta tells me this youtuber dosnt always know about the things they talk about. noone who has seen that ending would say its "hard to get" hell you can get it in less than 3 mins of loading the game up.

MGSV just becomes a rotation of different stratagems. Once they get full head coverage head gear, it’s silent using high pen weapons to cover you, alongside you using silenced weapons and CQC to extract anyone relevant enough, and when that rotates out for nightimes, then it’s 20ft distance wait until they flashlight then CQC them. Just rotate between any 3-4 stratagems and the game will never truly adapt

Oh, and in LISA the painful. once you reach the top you can't kill yourself by jumping off with the bike, instead it straight up puts a text box denying to let you jump off and makes you climb ALLLL the way back down the rope or if you want you can just exit out of the game and lose your current progress if you didnt save before climbing it.

In Persona 3-5, if you stay in the dungeon too long, they will spawn a Reaper enemy to fight you. In early game you can't beat it, so you just have to run away. But in later game, it becomes a really good boss to grind.

In STALKER, Shadow of Chernobyl, the greed ending is one of the fake endings. To get one of the real endings, you need to decode a door. So, it doesn't count as roasting tryhards but it counts as roasting casual players who go for the monolith without a second thought.

I can actually explain that, when you get to the Monolith, if you have over 50000 money, you will get the greedy ending, it's actually like the gatekeeper for other endings, you just need to have less than 50000 to get different ends.
