@@JeffSu OK. You didn't quite explain how you e.g. delete a single email without opening it. That's what I usually do with the hover action. The keyboard shortcuts don't do it for me, I will keep the hover actions for now. But already implemented many other things you proposed in the video and Gmail feels nicer for sure!

Always find your tips so useful. Question for you. Is there a way to search my waiting inbox by label? Use case - when I have a meeting with someone I'd like an easy way to see everything I'm waiting for from that person. Could be to check that they've followed through on a action item. Appreciate any guidance.

Create a "waiting" label and tag emails where someone else has to take action with that label.

@JeffSu One question: Moving from bottom to top works fine for gmail, but in outlook the conversations feature does not work that well. So would it be better to move from top to bottom when you have deactivated conversations? Otherwise you may run into the pitfall, that you reply to an email, that has already been answered in a more recent e-mail?

I also added a small script to automatically delete some promotional offers after a few days.Mine of it's interesting, because they are in a specific folder, I need a code I go into it, but after X days the email is deleted and I don't have 500 emails that pollute me

Fab tips Jeff - as you said a lot of the settings are down to personal preference (I find the Nudges feature really helpful to me lol) Can I ask if there is a specific reason you don't have your Spam label set as 'Show if unread' too? I would completely forget to check mine if I had it hidden 😂

I have trouble deciding where to write my notes, there are too many apps. RIght now I am using Notion, samsung notes, obsidian. Notion because I havent move my old data, because they are hard to export somehow. samsung notes, because I immediately write notes using tablet, and easily sync to my phone. Obsidian, because I am trying to create a second brain. is there a way to make this effective? I prefer to have one apps for all my notes, but I dont think that is possible, because some features are available only on each apps.
