My mom and I visited our local Barnes and Noble to look for books for her students. When we entered the store, there was a Wild Karen arguing with one of the employees over not having a specific book and she was NOT being subtle about it at all since she was yelling so loud that I'm pretty sure that the people in the restrooms could hear her. From what my mom told me, Karen's daughter did eventually step in but the whole ordeal ended with both Karen and her daughter getting kicked out. It honestly brought a smile to my face when I heard people applauding for her being kicked out.

I had the weirdest experience while working at a grocery store. A karen that was only rude your her own family. Yelling at them constantly and blaming them for things, including the fact that the store was out of a certain variety of cream cheese. All the while, being perfectly polite to me. It was very strange.

Blessed be those who have the patience for customer service. Especially at food places. People are bad everywhere but Idk why being at a grocery store or fast food quene causes insanity with people. Maybe they're hangry. I get hangry a lot so I bring a few snacks in my purse in case of hangery emergencies. That holds me over until I get to a food place or home to cook a meal. I feel the worst for the lady who had hot soup thrown on her. Hope her place of employment paid for the medical bills and gave her lots of money or help her sue the offending customer for physical harm and emotional distress.

I'm in my 30s, but I was born later than most kids (IE my brother and I have an 11 year age gap.) Had to explain to my aunt and uncle what a Karen was. Like...even if they're older, I feel I shouldn't have to do that. The term is used so much in the media and online, EVERYONE should know what it is by now. Buuuut, honestly, they seem to only watch PBS and HGTV, which is understandable, but still...! Edit: I've unfortunately been called a Karen online, (I know, no one cares) but I see nothing wrong with wanting prompt service from a cashier instead of the cashier flirting with the guy ahead of me. Had most kids been born by then? so any child born after “most kids were born” was born later?
