3:57 My problem with the clutter mods and with most mods replacing wood, is the wood looks too clean and straight, making it look unnatural. I know there's some industry at this point, but in this kind of setting, there should be imperfections in the cuts, and not perfectly straight and cylindrical.

@@tiotito31 plus unless it's brand new and freshly lacquered, which is pretty rich for the average Skyrim denizen, it's grain shouldn't have nearly as much pop. like the wagon for instance, the wood in the base game was grey and worn, unprotected, and dry. it's the wood of a simple cartmans worn wagon that's been through weather and years of sunlight. the mod that retextures it makes it look like it's fresh from an imperial City workshop for an esteemed trader.

Hey Chris!! At some areas or situation I am also fine with the dust particles. There are some situations tho that looks weird or it does not make sense. But then again everyone has their own preferences and I respect yours! 😁 At least people get to decide if they really need it or not

Chatty NPCs doesn't feel right, the NPCs stop whatever they're doing just to approach someone to make a quick couple line chat and then robotically go back to what they're doing.

Once again i had my modlist from 2022-2024q1 almost done, but once again the esp limit did beat me, despite trying to squeeze it as much as i could.. now that i came back with renewed energy, yet again there re so many new mods, and so many others need newer versions of the ones i already got installed.. Do you guys think i should start over, ignore most of the new stuff and ignore updsting every single mod i have, maybe besides the most important ones, and just complete my somewhat outdated list? I really dont feel like starting over, but the feeling that my list wont be stable as well as it will be missing some of the new cool and popular mods.. eh, help :((

Well.. if I am being honest, modding never ends. So if you’re contented with what you have right now, go and play it :) just have fun so you can avoid being burnt out. Of course, if you have the mental energy, it would be nice to just update your current list and then back it up in case it breaks when you add more mods. That way you won’t have to start all over again

OK I just started moding Skyrim for the first time ever on my Xbox a month ago and all I can say is thank you to all the guys who create all of those amazing mods I'm amazed how you can really make your game look so much better. But there is one thing that is garbage and it's not moders fault ofcourse but bethesdas and that is distand Lod my God it's shows that bethesdas game engine is not old but ancient I hope they fix at least that in Elder Scrolls 6.

Well for PC we can fix that LOD problem with DynDOLOD, XLodGen, Grass Cache, etc but for consoles.. there’s not much to do because these mods requires a 3rd party program and Xbox (especially Sony) does not allow these

Nice list. However there aren't just 20 mods and you are misleading the people. Example. the Northman - Armor Mashup requires another mod which requires another 9 mods, which one of them requires another 50 mods to be installed like FreeFPS.

Northman Armor Mashup requires FSMP for physics. This has been a thing for a long time now. It’s still 1 mod alone because if you don’t need physics, you don’t need to get FSMP FreeFPS on the other hand is a guide and not a mod. Therefore, it guides you on what to get(mods) to have better FPS. It never stated that you need 1 mod only to fix all FPS problems.

Also, most of the time the requirements are like a one time thing. Once you have it, other mods will be needing it as well and since you already have it, it’s not gonna be a big deal. For example, my Eldergleam Modlist already has all of the Framework mods (Base Object Swapper, FSMP, payload, Open Animation Replacer, etc). Most of the time when a mod needs one of these, I will most likely already have it so it’s honestly not a really big deal once you get all the framework type of mods.
