In Jedi: Fallen Order, there’s a poncho you can get called Outlander, it’s a pretty simple plain brownish poncho, kinda goes under the radar. But it’s an homage to to The Phatom Menace when Watto (Anakin’ owner) first sees Qui-Gon on Tattooine and calls him “Outlander” the poncho is very similar to Liam Nesson’s. just a super obscure random reference it’s kinda weird they dug for lol

If you want miniscule details in an FPS, forget Call of Duty and take a look at Escape from Tarkov. Not only does it have literally hundreds of mods for its ever growing arsenal, but there are TONS of little animations that just add to the realism of the game. Just some examples: Your character actually reaches to open/close doors/crates/containers etc. and the hand movement adjusts to the angle you are reaching from! You can unload and catch the bullet in the chamber! You can inspect your weapon, for ammo type, magazine fullness, chambered round, general look, you can fold stocks, hell, even modify some parts during your raid! You also have a ton healing/eating/drinking animations, where your avatar actually uses the stuff you are healing with/eating/drinking. Every single item (there are more then a thousand) has an accurate 3D model, no general models or "just icons". It is simply amazing!

@W1Robur 4 жыл бұрын
@@XxKidnoffxX it will never go on steam. it uses proprietary things like eotech branding, noveske parts, etc. this can only exist because the game is russian based with their own website hosted in russia. if these things were on western services they would be sued until they are taken out or the game is removed. this is the cost of realism for parts and such without production cost being prohibitively expensive.

This might not come in as amazing to some people but i find it incredible that in RdR 2 you can physically shop for items. Like instead of other games where you buy from a programmed menu/catalogue you can (if you so choose) walk around the store, inspect the items on the shelves, and then maybe buy them. I also love the fact that you dont just go through bushes and leaves your character pushes the leaves and bushes aside.

Funny part is, you aren't supposed to close an eye when aiming. You actually get better sight clarity with both open.

Well on rds or holo you do get better sightpicture but with magnified scopes its better to close.
@AusDej
@AusDej 4 жыл бұрын
It's not that you get better sight clarity, it's that you can see more around you. If you are aiming at a threat in a hostile environment you want to have as good of an idea of what's going on around you as possible. Closing an eye takes that away. But like the comment above pointed out, that's not the case with magnified optics.

DMC5 has some INSANE details. Nero's Overture arm has so many mechanical components when it opens up -- it looks like a freaking Michael Bay Transformer. Dante's shotgun shells have "Devil Must Die" written on the bottom. One of Nico's tattoos, the one on her left rib, is another William Blake poem. Nero has a taunt where he chews gum and it actually restores health. Taunting Vergil will cause him to get annoyed and threaten you.

18 years career infantry and yes every competent one actually does to some extent. It's generally taught to new shooters when we train them with irons and at longer ranges. Even professional sharpshooters for sport do. Tho for them the go to is to tint/put tape over one lenses of their shooting glasses because it lessens eye strain compared to closing the eye. The only time training generally stresses having 2 eyes open is CQB because the situational awareness is important and that's generally done with reflex and holographic sights anyway. In fact one method we use was to make you train with just your non-dominate eye by covering your dominant one with a patch. This both helps you get used to shooting with both open and with one for an instance where your dominate eyes is injured. In fact recently a lot of the time we have also tried to start including training with the non-dominant hand as well. It's the opposite with sharpshooting tho. When I was training for 0317 they would chastise you for keeping both open with optics even if you could shoot that way.

The mil-dots changing in Apex is actually very useful. They are changing to keep your scope accurate. Where you need to aim changes because of bullet drop over a distance. Not only that but aiming up or down at extreme angles changes where you have to point your crosshair even if the distance doesn't change.
