If you want miniscule details in an FPS, forget Call of Duty and take a look at Escape from Tarkov. Not only does it have literally hundreds of mods for its ever growing arsenal, but there are TONS of little animations that just add to the realism of the game. Just some examples: Your character actually reaches to open/close doors/crates/containers etc. and the hand movement adjusts to the angle you are reaching from! You can unload and catch the bullet in the chamber! You can inspect your weapon, for ammo type, magazine fullness, chambered round, general look, you can fold stocks, hell, even modify some parts during your raid! You also have a ton healing/eating/drinking animations, where your avatar actually uses the stuff you are healing with/eating/drinking. Every single item (there are more then a thousand) has an accurate 3D model, no general models or "just icons". It is simply amazing!

18 years career infantry and yes every competent one actually does to some extent. It's generally taught to new shooters when we train them with irons and at longer ranges. Even professional sharpshooters for sport do. Tho for them the go to is to tint/put tape over one lenses of their shooting glasses because it lessens eye strain compared to closing the eye. The only time training generally stresses having 2 eyes open is CQB because the situational awareness is important and that's generally done with reflex and holographic sights anyway. In fact one method we use was to make you train with just your non-dominate eye by covering your dominant one with a patch. This both helps you get used to shooting with both open and with one for an instance where your dominate eyes is injured. In fact recently a lot of the time we have also tried to start including training with the non-dominant hand as well. It's the opposite with sharpshooting tho. When I was training for 0317 they would chastise you for keeping both open with optics even if you could shoot that way.

1:16. You're taught in the military to not close your eye when aiming as when using scopes you can close the lid to make yourself more concealed but still see the dot in the scope. Source: Was in the military.

In DMC5, if you use twosome time using by starting with either shoot or style button, it changes if Dante shoots with Ebony or Ivory at the second target. It also changes his stances.

The mil-dots changing in Apex is actually very useful. They are changing to keep your scope accurate. Where you need to aim changes because of bullet drop over a distance. Not only that but aiming up or down at extreme angles changes where you have to point your crosshair even if the distance doesn't change.
