I've had fire blankets around the house (and in each car) for years (have never used them, luckily). The quick response to small fires with a fire blanket nearby provides a peace-of-mind that's invaluable. BUT, have a couple full-fledged extinguishers around the house too!

Can I just say as an NP, one of the most common ‘instincts’ when something catches fire in a frypan is to pick up and carry the frypan to the sink to put it out under the faucet. PLEASE don’t EVER do this. I have seen several cases of horrendous third degree burns on hands from doing this. Trust me, it’s easier to recover from your whole house burning down than it is to recover from third degree burns on your hands. It’s life changing. The blanket you have here sounds like a great alternative.

I bought your roll out drying rack after seeing it on one of your previous videos. I LOVE it. I was concerned that when it was rolled up it would be in the way. Not at all in the way. I was also concerned that it would fall off the sink. It doesn’t . One of my favorite kitchen purchases ever!!!!

Gotta agree with you there! I lost my brother to cancer in 2011 & he was only 32 & then lost my dad 3 years later to cancer also, & I'm gonna tell you, my life has been so so hard without them in it! Thank God for my husband because I would really be a mess if I didn't have him. I love men & always will. She has had her heart broken & has been betrayed so she feels as tho she doesn't need a man right now which is great for her but I do agree that kids need a good male role model in their lives weather it's an uncle, or a step dad or whatever. I was so incredibly blessed to have fantastic men in my life as well & miss them dearly. I would probably be pretty bitter tho if my husband did me dirty, at least until I found a better man, & believe me, I would find me one eventually!😂
