I always told my family re laundry - by the time I've sorted it, pretreated it, put it in the washer, put it in the dryer, folded it or put it on a hangar, I'm sick of dealing with it! Y'all can put it away! So they each had a small basket for clean clothes to take to their room. Also, if you put on hand lotion before slipping on your gloves, the heat from the hot water really makes it sink into your skin!

Some of us have been doing 1 L.O.L. a day for years. When all my kids were at home everyone had their laundry day oldest to youngest. Now I do it by Alliteration, miscellaneous Monday, Towels on Tuesday, Whites on Wednesday, Rags and cleaning cloths on ThuRsday, Sheets on Saturday. It's so easy.

I have another mind blowing and time saving addition to this: I don't fold most of my laundry anymore. Underwear, sock, leggings, bratops. I just throw them in a drawer or a box. Saves SO much time! I do fold my towels, because I stack them. But if I had children, I wouldn't bother with folding all their clothes. Just separate drawers.

Sometimes I use gloves when washing dishes too…there’s something about the gloves that make it all easier. Most of the clutter on my counters are from my kids art work or past school work. What do you do with those? I feel bad throwing it all out 😊

Another good idea is also I have these cleaning wipes spread all over my house close to flat surfaces that get dusty a lot and whenever I have two minutes during the day I take one out and clean a surface like a shelf or a desk area.

There is 8 people, in our house. The washing machine, is always going. Miss one day in our house, it's a disaster. It's like impossible to keep the house clean, because just as soon as the kids get home from school...there is always...plus 3 to 4 extra kids with them. If have have ever heard of the show Loud House. That's us. Atleast I know that all the kids are okay. Dishes, that's a whole nother story. Thanks for all the good tips. Much appreciated. I’m going to try this I have clothes in the dryer. One load a want to wash. I already ran the dishwasher. I will finish the dishes I don’t put in the dishwasher. And then I will do the laundry. And fold everything up. I’ll just do the laundry I have for today. I have family coming this weekend. So I have to get my house clean before they get here. Once they get back home. I’m going to start decluttering everywhere. Maybe a few places before they come. We’ll see what I can get done.

One thing I always do is never leave any room with empty hands. (For example when I leave my bedroom and see something that belongs in the kitchen I just take it and put it into its place.) That way you’re always tidying just small steps at a time🤗

Laundry is neverending but you can limit it a LOT : if you create a capsule wardrobe for you and your children, you have less garments in rotation. And you can change your capsule from time to time. Today I entend to choose my capsule for october : 4 pants, 4 sweaters etc... whatever number seems suitable. But it means that it will become IMPOSSIBLE to find 6 pants to be washed or folded in the same time, and I prefer that !
