he did not shift down, how should he become faster by this??? the 5th gear at the koenigsegg ends at 355 kph and if he would have shifted down, the rev limiter would have slowed him down to that speed. Btw, a koenigsegg never gets to 9k rpm, their gearbox does not allow more than 7,4k

Anthony Smith I'm a Hennessey fan, but even I think 300 is too optimistic. I don't think there is a road tire compound in existence that can hit those speeds and last a good 10k miles or more. Its also a matter of aerodynamics, downforce, power, grip, and chassis strength. Hennessey's got a lot to live up too, and I will believe it when I see it.

Anthony Smith I said ROAD TIRE COMPOUND, not some 700 mile per hour specially designed tire. The tire has to have tread, can't be just complete slicks, and it has to last more than a few minutes. Ayush Arya well not really the chiron is limited to a speed that's lower than the one:1 one and venom but it can go 280 plus without the limiter but it's official top speed is somewhere under 270 and over 260 mph. It's funny how you assume taking off it's limiter is SAFE. First off:Engines can explode when put under too much pressure. For instance,Pushing the Chiron to MORE than it's meant to is going to damage the engine at some point. That,and it's tires would shred to pieces before it can hit 280+
