Leacanabuaile Stone Fort lies on a hill, west of the town of Cahersiveen, in County Kerry in Ireland.
Leacanabuaile Stone Fort is a ringfort, which was probably built in the 9th or 10th century. It name translates back to 'Slope of the summer cow pasture'. It is not known who built it but it is thought to have been a fortified farmstead.
It consists of a roughly circular stone wall with only one entrance facing east, away from the prevailing wind. Inside the courtyard are the remains of a round house, the only one of several to survive, and attached to it is a later square house. Inside the round house there is the entrance to an underground passage, which leads to a small opening on the outside of the ring wall. The other remains are of 2 buildings which were later built against the inner side of the surrounding wall.

Il se compose d'un mur de pierre à peu près circulaire avec une seule entrée orientée à l'est, à l'abri du vent dominant. À l'intérieur de la cour se trouvent les restes d'une maison ronde, la seule parmi plusieurs à avoir survécu, à laquelle est rattachée une maison carrée plus récente. À l'intérieur de la maison ronde, il y a l'entrée d'un passage souterrain qui mène à une petite ouverture à l'extérieur du mur d'enceinte. Les autres vestiges sont de 2 bâtiments qui ont été construits plus tard contre le côté intérieur du mur d'enceinte.
