i turn 25 in may this year- can safely say that your twenties will constantly slap you in the face. but they’ve also taught me how to be the best version of myself! 1. i’m not a minimalist (did give it a real good try for a few years tho) but i am more mindful about the physical items i bring into my life now. 2. the right people genuinely want the best for you and will support you and not care about anything else 3. no one is looking at you/watching you as much as you think they are 4. the go go go mentality of society is not normal and it’s perfectly alright to go slow, take a break, or stop moving for just a moment. there’s so much more but these are the big takeaways thus far. enjoy your twenties and know that it’s okay not to have it all together !

Dear, Margaret... this is exactly what I need. Coming from a momma in her 20s with 3 kiddos three and under in the absolute thick of life right now, the overwhelm is so real. But your videos this morning have been exactly what I am craving and need. Thank you for the time you've poured into these.

Thank you dor putting this together. As a woman in my early 20s, its valuable getting some knowledge from people who have gone through some things I will soon face, so this video was helpful. Also, nice to meet another sister in Christ! Praying for you and your channel. ❤ God bless, Autumn 🍂

"A joyful heart & gracious words are healing"...... Best quote I've heard all day. Thank you! I'm 61 & I struggle still with most things in life but I'm not giving up. I will with Gods help & guidance be the person he put me here to be. I truly enjoy your videos & you are extremely wise for a 30-year-old. I've learned a lot from you & am honestly enjoying my new life changes. Minimalism did scare me when I started years ago but the things you say about it are true. Taking care of 1 rather than many of anything is easier. God Bless You Margaret.

This list is wonderfully honest, and your insights capture so much of the intensity and growth that defines the twenties. It’s a decade where we’re figuring out who we are and often challenging the values and habits we grew up with. You know, it strikes me that every lesson you shared points back to the importance of slowing down, truly listening, and embracing a simpler, more intentional life. So many people will resonate with these reflections-especially the wisdom about learning to detach from societal pressures and, instead, choosing to prioritize values that are deeply personal. Thank you for sharing this journey with such openness. You remind us all that it’s okay to evolve, to make mistakes, and to live with grace toward ourselves. And always, remember... every time you click the “like” button... an angel gets its wings.

I love these lessons ❤️ I agree that all of my 20s was just a repeated slap in the face 😂 I am 30 and feel like I am just starting to learn about myself and work on many of these things, mostly due to discovering your channel a couple years ago when I became a mom. Thank you for sharing your way of life and the hard lessons you have learned. Also, that light blue sweater is absolutely beautiful on you and really brings out your eyes!

I watched this as I walked on the treadmill at the gym haha thanks for the company. On a more serious note, thank you for this. I’m 25 and it’s confusing sometimes… but your videos and mentality bring so much clarity and insight without it feeling like it’s being thrown at me (if that makes sense, like when people talk at you through screens). This was healing in a lot of ways :) and although I don’t consider myself religious, your words on that topic are still hitting home.

I don’t know if you will see this Margaret but there is an extremely helpful book called “Good Energy” by Dr Casey Means and it is full of health info and lessons I wish I had learned earlier. It aligns with a lot of stuff I have heard from you. Thank you for your videos I find them so so helpful as a momma trying to simplify and be healthy, I appreciate you!

In two months, I will be turning 30... and boy did the twenties not go as I thought they would? But you're right - they are SO important! I really loved that you incorporated what God taught you in your twenties 💛Also, I have been watching since summer of 2019...It's amazing to see how your channel has grown since then - congratulations on 100k!!

Wow decade of my twenties was a while ago now (Turning 41 on Sunday). It goes so fast! I don't think I was triggered all the time, but I do think becoming a parent can trigger you (I became a mom at 23). Thankfully I've been a minimalist since I was 22, so that helped (and it was developing when I was younger than that). I love how you decided to learn skills in your twenties! That's great. I think the 20s is a great time to try things and gain new hobbies! It can go into the rest of your life and should, but I think many people in their twenties don't go digging to learn new things. They just want to know who THEY are rather than finding what they LIKE to do. Loved your video and the advice you gave. Yeah I have no idea where the voice memo is. I totally have most of the answers because I am a huge researcher, but I am open to learning and I think THAT is important. Be teachable. People in their twenties usually are NOT. My twenties were my entire first decade of marriage, as I was 20 when I wed. I think more people need to marry younger...granted my oldest is about to turn 18 and never dated yet and I am not rushing him. heh. Listen, I fit in my jeans for nearly 30 years until recently (as old as you!) - I did get rid of them with tears. Postpartum in your 40s is crazy long. Have all your kids as soon as you can. Okay well great video!
