man, while EA launches half done games at the price of two well done games, rockstar is recording TWO VERSIONS of each damn dialogue line in this game, just for the sake of being realistic about characters yelling louder when far away in conversations, this detail is one of the most impressives to me, since I'm a developer and some details cost you more than others, but having to record EVERY line of dialogue with a normal voice and a louder yelling voice means that they spent about the double of money in voice acting (which means dozens of thousands of dollars for a game this size) just so you can feel a bit more immerse. Incredible.

There is another detail I found was that sometimes you will find homeless people that say that are blind and veg for money. Sometimes they say the truth but otherwise times they are lying, you can check this by aiming your gun at him. I accidentally hit a dog with my horse the other day right outside of Saint Denis. I never re-load any of my games no matter what happens, so it's more immersive. It fled away from me and was dying and I didn't know what to do, I tried to save it somehow but couldn't. You know, of all the details that I’ve seen posted on KZbin, the biggest detail of all that was most impressive to me, was the natural hair growth over in-game time passed. This really makes the character feel very alive and more human. I have never really seen such affect play a role in any other game. And I would love to see more of this in future rockstar games. Such as red dead redemption three and Grandtheft auto six.

Another thing about your swimming horse, if you have pelts stacked on the back, the smaller pelts, not the rolled ones (least not that I've noticed), they will float up and off the horse's back if your horse has to go deep enough to swim. Happened to me when crossing a deeper creek than I realized and a beaver pelt got lifted off the horse and pushed downstream.

Also, this can ruin pelts/hides on your horse as well. Same goes for your weapons. Spend too much time slogging through the swamps/deeper water and your guns will rust and grim up faster than just using them normally. It's a pretty good idea to keep plenty of gun oil on you if you plan on trekking through the swamps so you can keep your weapons in peak condition.

Gta 6 will be tricky to make because the next gen consoles arent that powerful to maintain rdr2 at 30 fps. The ps4 pro goes below 30 fps in some crowded places. So imagine driving with 100mph in gta 6 in a city with cops chasing down. Especially online would be laggy as hell.

As a former horseback rider I noticed some really awesome details they got right with the way the horse works. 1.) when cantering/galloping, the horse changes lead (the leg that hits the ground more forward than the others) as you turn, and its correct for real horseback riding etiquette. It also changes smoothly when you change direction. They also jump and land on the same lead. 2.) the horse sweat patterns line up with real ones, sweat on the chest first, then around the saddle. 3.) when in colder temperatures, a sweaty horse will let off steam from its skin. Also, accurate. 4.) when shot, the horses can spout blood and will retain a visible gunshot wound for a long time. Feel free to make a video capturing these details if you haven’t already.

I think it is some audio effect applied to the dialogue. They created an effect that modifies the voice when you are far and sounds pretty convincing like the character is raising his voice. It's is pretty much like when you are drunk, or in a tunnel or cave in other games. It is the same piece of audio with some distortions and shit. Well, I don't know. Sure Rockstar can pay a few sound engineers.

That robbery was done really well, it happened so fast and you had no time to react, especially how the guy from the back came out of nowhere. It just kinda sucks how you can chase and kill them almost immediately, defusing any kind of suspense the moment had. I shot them and then turned around and shot the ones at the back when I realized they were there. I'm usre there were 2 guys at the back for me though. my only gripe is you can end up loosing rep if anyone see's you in the area while looting. I think they need to fix bad rep so you can't get bad rep when you didn't start it. this usually is the case, but other NPC's can still report you which will start a chain of rapidly declining rep. I get mine right up by talking to people and then one thing happens in the wild that leads to chain of murder and I loose it all again.

@@pizzatime9412 The slow-motion is an unrealistic gamey mechanic, not something that would happen in real life. It's just to make the player feel powerful. Arthur is not some kind of superhero. This would have been a nice moment to make him look more human, but then immediately after the robbery it turns into a game again and you turn on your Max Payne bullet-time. IMO this game would have been a lot better without deadeye, but it's there because console gamers can't aim in real-time.
