People never going to agree a film which in foreign with foreign actress, English culture. It will be a box office disaster in that time .so Vijay decision is correct. He said the exact thing.. when comes to Suriya & GVM combo.. two times they joined they delivered two beautiful movies. Literally, that's the plot of American Assasin.. instead of "his" girl dying in the air craft explosion, she'll die near the beach and rest is what GVM said. Lol. And it came out in 2017. But Yohan discussion was way back in 2010s.. Now guess what the "American Assasin" novel was released in 2010. May be that's where he got inspired?

@@legowtham I think so too... Even before American Assassin released in 2010, Vince Flynn's been leaving clues about Mitch Rapp's backstory for a long time right from 1999. Rapp's girlfriend is killed in the PanAm explosion and that's how he started getting into the espionage business and the CIA recruits him. So, GVM (with his penchant for English novels) had plenty of time to come up with the storyline.
