I've just started violin with my son and found you here. You sound much better to me than the other more popular guy, please keep up the vids if you can! I know it's dated, but I have a feeling the Canon Rock would sound much better than anyone else if done by you. Then I'd try to copy you, in a few years ;)

punk, metal, ska? honestly you could play any genre on violin but I understand that since there are so many genres, it’d be hard to fit in one video XD but anyway, good job, you’re playing is really good! also you’re pretty good at chopping, do you have any tips for that? like I know that I should put a bit more rosin on the frog, but do you have any advice or anything on how to make it sound more percussive (without as much sound from open strings)?

where did you get the sheet music from for santa fe?

I have accompanied that on piano so I just kind of improv'd the melody. You can also read the melody from something like a Broadway cheat book
