Same here. As I had a Mac ai couldn’t play since 2018. Got everything for TS4 and still sucks. I was playing only once or twice a year. Recently I was able to download the new 64bits version of TS3 and boy that’s good! I’ve been playing every single day for hours. The difference is astonishing. It’s wayyyyy better. I’m an avid Sims fan. I’ve played since it came out and I was 15 years old. Next month I’m turning 40 and downloading TS3 again was a great bday gift 🎁❤️

I grew up playing sims 2/sims 3 since i was like 10 I quit playing when I was about 17 and haven’t played since I’m 26 now and kinda wanna start playing again but I don’t know why the game is crashing I also had awesome mods back in the day and custom content and all that, that I would download.

yes! download the mods folder, you might want to download from the Microsoft edge browser (if you use windows), because other browsers might block the download. then you're going to place that mod in your sims 3 folder, which should be under: documents, electronic arts, and the sims 3. finally you're going to place all your mods/cc within that folder and into that packages folder. hopefully that helped, let me know if you have anymore questions! :) here's the link to the mod folder: modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Setup_and_Files

@@eliminate100. it depends on the mod! some mods might be outdated or conflict with another mod so i will suggest you read the description/comments of the mod when you download them to see if there’s any mod conflicts. if you want there’s a software called the sims 3 dashboard that can help you figure out what cc/mods are corrupted, duplicated, and conflicted. also some mods might be new so keep out for updates for them as well. hope that helps! 😌 here’s a link to the sims 3 dashboard: modthesims.info/d/387006/sims-3-dashboard-tool-updated-1st-july-2022-v1-3-8217-25892.html

you’re welcome! 😌 and i’m not 100% sure, usually when you have a potty chair on the lot sims will do the interaction if the toddler doesn’t know how to.

hi, i'm glad you enjoyed the video! did you place the mod in your package folder within the mods folder? if you did then try putting it in your overrides folder instead. if that doesn't work, try and see if the mod conflicts with another mod in your folder. :)

@@treaesthetic I tried that now and I am noticing that I don't get those instant attractions that I used to get but I haven't yet seen the messages that should pop up with this mod...maybe I need to get to know other sims better.How normally do those attraction messages pop up for you?

@@jaire511 ohhh of course! the pop up messages is from a different mod called deeper conversations! so the attractions mod is more of autonomous thing that your sims will do and depending on which version you choose will determine the interactions if that makes sense. sorry for the confusion 🥲
