Having only gotten a PS5 from the Sony site offer to buy on Dec. 15. I am still learning new things just about every day. Both my PS4 PRO and now PS5 are still my older and newest go to platforms, and yet I learn something new as how they interact with each other all the time. Well ps5 ssd is rated at 5000mb/s and Xbox at 3500mb/s, that's faster on a hardware level. Same goes for additional storage. Xbox expansion is 3500mb/s too and ps5 is up to 7800 or whatever the currently fastest m.2 is. Storage speed is truth.

I had no problems finding one. I wasn't even looking for one at the time. Had to return an item to best buy was given store credit, my brother went to see if they had any. They didn't, but another one across town had 16. So we ran over there and grabbed two. This was three days ago. Don't have surround sound anymo. But, got my ps5 years before I thought I'd get one.

When PlayStation Online play first came out around the PS3 days; You were able to play Online for Free, but that was changed around the time the PS4 came out. However; I don't play games online.

Its been changed. You can store your PS5 games on any external HDD approved for the PS5, you cannot play it though. This just means you're waiting for a movement of a file size, rather than a re-download.

Ps5 does support internal hard drives. I've put a 2tb SSD in my ps5 and can play ps5 games downloaded on it

Yeah uhh... Actually 3rd party games do load faster too, GTAO loads in less than 1 minute compared to PS4, it's a godsend and a huge difference!

I have both Ps5 and PC and I still prefer and play my PC more, but I do think that the Ps5 was a big improvement over the Ps4 in nearly all aspects besides controller battery life and game pricing. Overall, between both of the next-gen consoles, I feel like game devs still have a bit of work to do in terms of making full use of these consoles capabilities. I would give the Ps5 an honest rating of 8.5/10 at the moment.

Number 18 is wrong you have to transfer your files from ps4 to ps5 via wifi/Ethernet cable or you will have to just download everything once ps5 is set up

The myth was about friends and rights, it is obvious you need to install all games you want to use. Most games I had on my external HDD and SSD do work fine, no need to download again unless there was a specific PS5 version.

I have a series X and a Ps5. Ive configured both networks the same (DNS, bandwidth settings) yet my PS5 seems to have way more connectivity issues. This is mainly due to lan connections being unavailable with my current setup. However, i find it strange how there is such a keen difference between the two. If tried keeping my series X off of power save mode to conserve speeds but nothing has been very effective in keeping internet on my ps5 for longer than 10-15 minutes at a time. Worked fine the first week but now it seems to be a struggle for it to secure a steady connection

Try just keeping everything default in your modem for the ps5. Ive never had a issues connecting playstations to online. But xbox is famous for having issues without a properly set up and ported modem.

Old Video now there are many Ps5 for sale . A Ps5 update allows 1440p support now. Many PS4 cd games get a free ps5 upgrade for higher fps and Resolution. I bought a ps4 cd of AC Valhalla for $20 and got the free ps5 upgrade from Sony Stores.

PS5 storage is faster than series x, and PS5 can add a gen4 NVME internally that can run both PS4 and 5 games off of it. series x has some expansion card for expanded storage that is slower than its internal storage. do not know if the NVME slot for PS5 was useable when you made this, but it is now.

I had to make a difference account for the ps5 and start all over on my game's. My ps4 was too Hot to stay On turn off in 30sec I needed a 3 minute window to transfer my ps4 game to the ps5.

Forgot to mention, if your DS doesn't have "1A" at the end of it's bar code, then it's not a 2nd gen PS5 controller, which is probably why it's draining quick. I'm using the black controller too, I wanted to get the Galaxy Blue controller too, but was in a hurry at the time while ordering my PS5.

No, you can only use the internal SSD for PS5 games. The patch only let you save PS5 games for backup but only let you run PS4 games with external drives. The SSD expansion slot counts as internal SSD.
