Wow did you have to drill out the strut tower to make the tops fit? So you pay a crap ton for coilovers and they only give you S13 strut tops, if so that’s dogshit

Mark, those coilovers look to have base height adjustment. You should be able to loosen the bottom lock ring and wind the shock body down into the base tube. This way you can alter the ride height without changing the spring preload or needing helper springs.

Hey Mathew, that is the problem. Whoever built them in Japan left too much of the original tube on them. When you see them on the table, that is as low as they go. I need to pull them back out and machine down the tube stump inside the Base tube. That is coming up in a later episode.

They Look like brand new calipers.. Where did you source them from?

Sourced in Queensland but they didn't look like that when we got them. They've been fully rebuilt.

Sort of Japan. They are a U-weld into 120Y shock base and stub axles.

Hey Nick, Not sure what brand the flares are, from Japan. Yes trimmed out underneath you see that in a later ep when we take them all off to paint. Hayashi stopped making the wheels a few years ago so now astronomically priced. Techno Phantoms.
