No, it's just ridiculous, because it doesn't make sense. The new code is 3 times more difficult for judges, i believe. Because now they don't have element cards (where the coach would write what the gymnast was supposed to do in her routine) nor maximum difficulty value, meaning now gymnasts can have more than 10 for difficulty. Not just that, the new code favours masteries which are basically crazy tricks with the apparatus, hence why the Averinas are sweeping every medal in their way. Soldatova, on the other hand, worked much better in the previous COP i believe, just like every gymnast who'd feel more confident with the body skills and combining them to take credit for the combination, i.e. her 6-rotations frontscale pivot in her 2016 ball routine

She is very well educated, like almost all Russian gymnasts, they are not arrogant or narcissistic, they just do a sport they love.

The sport of gymnastics is very demanding when you have Irina Viner as a coach, and she is a sensitive girl, she does not have the character or mentality of Dina Averina. But she loves sports and everyone loves her. Sasha....4/5 hours sleep is NOT healthy! :( you need at least 8 hours especially with how hard you work and how much you train! you need as much rest as possible!

Not really. About 90% of humans (not a very accurate number, sorry) need a 6-9 hours sleep per night, about 5% need more than 9 hours and other 5% are just fine with less than 6 hours of sleep. Sasha is clearly part of the latter group. It's the way her brain works. Be sure she wouldn't be fine physically and mentally if it weren't her natural sleep-vigil rhythm.
