You can also use dishwashing soap for everything that is not powder based, like foundation, concealer, lipstick, liner, mascara etc. Which is what I use and I am a MUA. Cheaper than expensive brush cleaners. Great review and can't wait to get my which I just ordered😉

This is very interesting and the best brush cleaner I have looked at so far but the one thing I don't see it do is rinse out the soapy water. Does it say anything about using a clean bowl of water and rinsing before a final dry spin? The idea of soap residue on the brushes makes my skin itch thinking about it.

When the brush is spun around out of the water all existing residue is spun off and therefore become dry. No soap, No bacteria and No hassle!

This was such a helpful video. At first, I thought it was one of those scammy brush cleaning devices that lots of people are advertising on Instagram. I watched it anyway (because I watch all of your videos lol) and I am so impressed! I don't have a problem washing my own brushes with my sigma glove and mat but there is nothing to replace the drying abilities this machine has! I could not believe how it dried your dense kabuki brush in seconds. Sometimes I come home with more than 50 brushes to clean (I'm a makeup artist) and I know this will work like magic to dry my powder brushes for the next day. I'm going to order one now!!! 😎

It really is a revelation! And don't panic, you can always use an alternative shipping company. Did you watch my video on GoSend? When I ordered US to products to the UK? Well you can do the same with a company that ships the opposite way. In the comments on that video people from the US have recommended companies they've used.

Haha, it honestly is life changing, if like me you have a hundred brushes to clean every week! Now I tested this myself, I cleaned 5 brushes in the same water before changing the bowl and then individually tested each brush in a separate bowl of water and on clean tissue to see if the brush was still grubby, but they weren't. These were small eye brushes. I found if you tried to clean a handful of foundation brushes in one capful the bristles weren't coming up as clean. All trial and error.

+Shonagh Scott thanks for the info...Yes I do have hundreds of brushes each week! the drying time is what bugs me....and then having to put them back in the brush belt on the morning of a booking at 4am! some of them are still damp and I have to hold them in front of a fan or heater to speed it up!

No, provided you don't overload the bowl with shampoo. The centrifugal spin technology spins the soapy water completely off the brushes, I even tested a brush in a separate bowl of clean water to see if there was a soap residue and nothing can out!!! So impressive. If you look into the research of this product you'll see how much testing has been done, so this would have been something they would have covered. StylPro themselves recommend using the hand sanitiser soap & baby shampoo.

It’s not water, it’s a special liquid with anti-bac in and doesn’t require water to rinse it. You must not add water. The liquid loosens and cleans the bristle and the centrifugal spinning is what removes the dirty & bacteria from the brush.

I'm confused, am I doing something wrong? I have tried all different kinds of makeup cleaning solutions and I spin and spin and spin and my brushes are still filthy, stained and caked with makeup. The moment I just manually wash them without this machine, they get clean quickly just how they usually do. I'm so frustrated because I want this to work for me. Am I doing something wrong? I'm literally in the middle of cleaning my cream contour brush for the FOURTH time, I've just added more cleaning solution and my brush looks no cleaner every time. This feels useless.

It doesn't work. If the brush is too heavy it doesn't spin and if it doesn't fit well it falls out. Great idea but isn't worth the money or the time. I hope a company can perfect it somehow!

Melissa Chaves Yes, I still use this product and totally recommend it!! But would also highly recommend using the proper liquid to go with it. Soaps are fine but your brushes will often still look stained. There cleanser is brilliant!

I am so tempted to purchase this but I aside of the worry that my brushes stay with some residue from the dirty soapy water I also worry about your good brushes losing its shape since the bristles open very widely and very fast. I worry that with constant use your brushes will expand and won't perform as well. Has anyone had this problem if you have been using this tool for a while now?

I purchased this and I am really, really disappointed. Firstly, one of the rubber holders I received was not cut out at all, which meant it couldn't be attached to the device that makes it spin. Unfortunately it was a very common size for my brush collection. Then secondly, mine stopped working on the first day I had it. It just completely stopped! Ellie from customer services is apparently sending me a new stylpro, but I really don't feel as though this product is worth the £50. I found it difficult to clean brushes with and my brushes were still damp after spinning them. It is quite time consuming, so I wouldn't say it was more convenient that washing manually. I don't know, I wish I could get a refund instead of getting a replacement to the broken device part :( It's ok for my synthetic brushes but for me natural haired Zoeva brushes, it's really difficult to get them back into shape after using this.

Use it for multiple brushes! :) Use your own discretion in regards to ‘how dirty is too dirty’. I usually find that if the bristles don’t look clean after a rinse then it’s time to change the water. Eye brushes are usually less dirty than a foundation brush so you can usually get a handle of those in before needing to change the fluid.

No, I found I could do about 5 small brushes in one lot of solution. I even tested the brushes in clean water afterwards to see if there was any left over residue but there wasn't! For foundation brushes you kind of need to change it per brush as it does filter out A LOT of pigment.

Omg, just yesterday I was searching Amazon to try to find a brush cleaner that would get my brushes *really* like-new clean and remove the oily residue that never seems to get fully removed with brush cleaning solution or shampoos. just one quick question...the kabuki brush seems to have kept its shape after the spin dry, however the foundation brush seems to have stayed with the bristles spread out. Does the spinning affect the shape afterwards?

You just run your fingers over the bristles and they go back to shape no problem.

1/3 bowl. You need space to lift the brush out of the water and spin it, if you fill it too high you won’t be able to do that.

Provided the handle fits in the collar, yes! I've even managed the Real Techniques Bold Metals, because they are triangular pointed handles aren't they. One of the collars has random little grooves in, and you can simple push the point into those and it grips it.

It does work for smaller brushes but I don’t bother to use it for eyeliner brushes etc, just fluffy ones that can flare out to remove the dirt.
