Hi Shonagh! I’ve been a subscriber for a long time, and I’m not really a commenter. But I wanted to thank you for this video and all your videos. I was in my 30s before I went on a journey to improve my makeup skills because I couldn’t figure out why when I applied my eyeshadow like the kit said, it didn’t look like the picture. (Almay sold eyeshadow palettes for brown eyes and at the time, I was just buying drug store stuff lol). I think I searched for makeup for redheads and found another utuber that was pale and had hooded eyes talk about her hooded eyes and how you had to apply eye makeup differently. A lightbulb went off and now I knew why things didn’t work for me, I have hooded eyes! Since then, I discovered you and I just want to say that although the haters are going to complain that you didn’t do this video on someone with hooded eyes, I really appreciate your expertise and skill. You always consider people with different eye shapes in your videos and always provide tips. I have to confess though that I don’t always follow the traditional advise regarding eyeliner. My eyes are actually extremely hooded and if I use pencil eyeliner, it transfers to my hood, so I actually use liquid liner so it stays put lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my novel here and keep doing what you are doing! ❤

By green/brown - do you mean to say that you have hazel eyes? My sister has this color eyes. Typically- the books will tell you to go with gray or dark brown. I find that warm colors are beautiful for your colored eyes. Every time I use orange or lavender on hazel eyes- they really pop! I hope this was helpful? ❤

@@niinafletcher I have green/brown eyes and if use some brown tones of eyeshadows, then some friends say to me, that it shows as i am sick. I hope, I could describe it now better? Thank you🥰
@niinafletcher Жыл бұрын
@@efsunefsane1301 - Yes, my sister has an eye color similar to the one you are describing. It’s almost like very close to the iris (the black circle in the center of the eye ⚫️) it’s almost a faint yellow- then green- and it fades into a brown. Are your eyes kind of like that? If yes- your eye color is called Hazel. Or- do you have one eye that is brown and the other eye is green? I’m trying to make sure that I’m understanding correctly because I have misunderstood before! 😅 My sister can’t wear what is called cool toned brown colors. She also feels like they make her appear like she is sick 😷 She only wears warm toned colors near her eyes. Purple is a complex color. When you mix blue and purple- you get purple! However- when there is more red (which is a warm tone) than the blue? It’s called Burgundy. She favors this color more than the other purple shades. I hope I was understanding correctly the eye color you were describing. If you have one eye different than the other eye color- please, let me know? The information that I left you above? I was guessing that you have the greenish brown eye color that is called Hazel. 💖

Hi Shonag! Great video, thanks a lot for it! I have a question: which colour of Too Faced concealer do you suggest for a fair skin with cold undertones? Thank you in advance!
@ShonaghScott Жыл бұрын
For fair skin, Cloud is ‘Fairest’ (more like alabaster skin) which is a neutral to cool undertone, then one shade along is Marshmallow (also in Fairest) which is cool. Then moving up to ‘Very Fair’ is Snow which is neutral/cool, then Cream Puff which is cool. Then moving along to ‘Fair’ you have Seashell (cool) and then Pearl which is neutral/cool. I’m sorry that doesn’t narrow it down for you but only you can workout how fair you are, I would Google image the shade names to see images of people using those shades to determined which are similar in skin tone to yourself and then you can make a more educated guess 🫶🏼

Have you tried the LashBase Pro Effects? They are the same as Lashify as in they sit underneath your natural lashes instead of on top but LashBase are affordable and they come in a variety of styles and sizes. I mainly wear M & L but they go down to XS. You can try their Light Glam if you want something subtle, or textured if you like a spikey look, or full Glam if you prefer more of a ‘lashy’ finish. They’re great for hooded eyes as they don’t overwhelm the top lid which in turn means you also don’t lose any space on top. I have a 10% discount code if you want to try them ‘SHONAGHLB10’.

What I want to know is who did this microblading or combo brows? 👌
@ShonaghScott Жыл бұрын
