Theory:I think that the chapter 3 map is actually the chapter 1 map. Epic said that after the black hole, the island was like remade or scrambled. Maybe somehow in chapter 2, we went to the flip side. This would explain why there are locations like shifty, tilted, greasy, sunny, risky, the desert, and the volcano are back. Also, on the outside the map, you can find the arm that was ripped off of the mech from the event in season 9

you can heal with the tents in the storm tho. you just gotta open the tent inventory, and one of the options lets you turn the tent back into an item. doing this to pick the tent up then dropping it back down again resets the tent's health letting you heal for longer. you can even pick up the tent while youre resting in it

A tip about the Guzzle Drink: It will regen you up to 100 HP, however when you're in the storm, that effect goes away completely.

Tips 1. The gold vaults work the same was as reviving and rebooting (I haven’t tried it but when I found one it had the hand symbol) 2. You can carry someone and slide (which is super helpful it saved me and my teammate in a fight when he got knocked) 3. You can kill the foundation by building up and harpooning him (I didn’t hear Sypher saying anything about it if he did please inform me) Also if anyone else said this before me please tell me I’m not trying to copy just things I thought people might want to know (sorry about the huge comment)

Fun fact: you can pick up loot when u are knocked down and u can speed up the rate of reviving/rebooting with the more players who do it at once.

Yo sypher, another thing you can do with the big trees are knock them in the water then stand on it and hit it with your pickaxe this will boost you forward on the log

Suggestion: investigate why there are places (trees) where you can't build. A bit disturbing... In my games, the Loot Boat has a fixed location, SW of the island. It is also pretty close to the shore, while in season 3 it was always far at sea. The exotic Boom sniper is clearly not efficient, but dam , I had so much fun with it previously. Having people with their clinging coming from nowhere starting to panicking in the distance, always great fun, especially on a boxed up squad !

A gliding and sliding tip: when you are gliding, if you maintain 'crouch' (= new slide move) while landing, you slide fast, even on flat land, even uphill (or up-ramp if you are landing on builds). A good way to try it (and have some fun) is in a rumble game.

Even if the leaks didn't say that tilted was 100 percent in, we could just assume it by looking at the explorers loading screen on page 4 of the battle pass. It shows different places such as the desert and the foundation statue but at the very end you can see a frosted clock tower further proving my point

I would also highly recommend storing exotics at the end of a match to preserve their value in addition to the mythic. (Edit) If they ever bring back the Storm Scout, this would be an amazing use of the tents.

@@bobvog7123 You have to store them before the last kill, otherwise it won’t let you place the tent. Maybe if you got it set up before the final kill, but I’m not sure. If you get eliminated you cannot store anything and will drop the exotic if it’s not already stored

Unless you need mobile healing the tent should be the only healing item your carrying. Putting an extra weapon in there can be tempting but the best use it to turn those things into mobile health centers with shield potions and such.

Sypher! I found an airtime glitch and if you do it right you get a lot of XP. In a quadcrasher float on the water and do it near the shallow bit so the quadcrasher does not sink and when it is floating on the water the game counts it as being in the air.

Break a log and get on it while in water, then pickaxe the log while on it to where it moves forward, it will send you flying, especially if you have multiple people pickaxing, I wonder if you shoot the log if it would do less damage but still shoot you forward as fast.

The health spray will be really handy if you're ever stuck in storm with a long way to get to circle. Also if you get wrecked in a fight you can slide and heal to get away pretty easy

You can boost while on quadcrasher, to pull up once your airborne you can't just hold 'w' to go up, you have to let go of the 'w' and press it again straight after and then you will tilt upwards.

@@ccscrew7728 that's your opinion. For the novice gamer it's absolutely garbage on the Xbox controller. Ask anyone. I've done polls in several fortnite groups and they all say the same thing. PC has the advantages of having hot keys for builds. If it wasn't a issue then explain this, why are console players forces to play with PC players? I was told at one time you could turn cross platform play off. They removed that option. You can't tell me there isn't enough console gamers to fill a few servers. Epic knows of the issue. I get asked in game at least once a month about building.

Fact I just found out about opening vaults: It actually works with any animal, it is just so much easier to do with chickens as you can pick them up, just got a boar to behave enough and it helped me open a vault

You can use the tents in the storm but your time is limited because it has about 350 health that ticks I think 5-7 per second depending on which circle of the storm

One thing I noticed too is on my controller I have 'run set default' on bjt my toggle pickaxe is also left stick I use to be able to auto run. Now, if I'm running and open the menu it says I'm auto running, if I let go during that it stays and I have missed it so much 😭

The logs can actually be used as transportation if you break them of a tree and make them land in the water you can pickaxe them while being on it and it pretty much moves you. It's kinda hard to explain

I like how Sypher is helping us, but i personally disagree with the gold thing in chapter 3 it took me 2 days to get the 600 gold for the boom sniper rifle (which i love the sniper) but in Ch.2 Season 8 it only took like 1-3 matches and i would have almost but most of the time more than 1,000 gold more than after i purchased some exotic or vending machine item

Heres a good tip on how to kill the foundation easily if you get a harpoon gun and some mats let someone distract him and then you build up and harpoon him then he dies to fall damage

Fun fact, you were wrong about tents in the storm, the tents DO take storm damage, but it’s small amounts and the health resets when you pick the tent up, I travelled more than half the map with no heals using only a tent

Personally I like the chapter 2 map more but I'm giving this one a chance. I hate the guns though, except the mk7. Games are pretty Bland rn without RPGs, Recon scanners, Shockwave launchers, Scars, etc. But I like the healing items though. Hope they add new items weekly again
