Danny checking in! Thank you to the @cut people for putting this all together. I cannot imagine all the hard work and time put into coordinating, filming, producing, and editing this video. From the pre-interviews to figure out who would be selected, to the editing of HUNDREDS of hours of audio and video, it's truly an astonishing amount of work to make something of this high production quality. For those who don't know, the 21 and below video was filmed the day before this one, so that was double the work. They had to filter through 20 people constantly talking for over 4 hours each, plus the one on one interviews and prior coordination; obviously they wouldn't get to put everything in the video we wanted, and I bet there were internal debates on moments they didn't want to cut. I have specific memories of every single person in this video, even the ones I didn't get to interact with much. I have lots of regrets, especially after seeing the video now, but my one biggest regret is that I didn't talk to everyone as much as they deserved, and wish I didn't let my social anxiety and introverted nature get the best of me. Everyone was super lovely and easy to talk to and extremely friendly. Some of my favorite conversations that weren't shown in the video were with Bri (who is amazingly smart and perceptive), Diamond (who made me laugh hard enough to fall to the floor), Tinashe (who could make anyone feel like they're talking to an old friend), and Spencer (who is the perfect beer grabbin friend). And there were even people in the video I never had the chance to speak to during the video, like Lena and Mashal and Ashley M and Keshaun and Brittany. One of my favorite memories that was not shown: I think I was in a circle with Spencer, Santiago, and Jeremy, about halfway through the first round of talking. We asked each other how it was all going and who was into who, and I think we were all overwhelmed and none of us had found a match yet. We all had a bro moment, hyping each other up, and promised to grab beers with each other after the video no matter what, and then had a big hug and basketball team style cheer and dispersed. For the official record, I purchased everyone a shot of rumple at our post filming bar venture (timestamp @48 min) and we had a grand ol time hanging out afterwards! I can assure you all that EVERYONE in this video was awesome. Super thankful that I got this opportunity to meet this great group of people, all that I can consider my friends today. I'm still very close friends with Sage, who I've gone on multiple bro dates on now and cant wait for more; and Santiago most of all, he is such a great guy and would die for that fella!

This is so interesting because I feel like we watched so many people get overstimulated and react differently. Just to focus on the men: Junior could feel himself start to get overstimulated, so he removed himself from the conversations, but when he found Hailey, he let himself relax and was able to bounce back. On the other hand, Danny was feeling overstimulated, removed himself from conversations, but when he found Ashley, someone he wanted to get to know, he wasn’t able to relax enough. Maybe this was actually because he didn’t like her? Who knows. Then we have Sage. I think Sage actually might just not thrive in group settings like this. He says he wants to find someone who is deeply emotional but during the talking phases he seemed to flit from group to group, not really focusing in on one person. Also the fact that he was forgetting questions he asked people makes me think that he wasn’t fully grounded in the conversations he was having. I think that if Sage was to sit down with someone one on one, he might have more success finding that deeper connection or at least learning about them! This is a super overwhelming environment so it’s super interesting to see how different people react to it!

Jeremy here. This was fun. Thank you CUT for the opportunity. To the people I was casted with: thanks for the core memories. All the good and bad connections that we made has positively shaped me into the person I am now: a 24yr old coach that inspires the young men and women to become better people. To the people in the comments: there’s a lot more that happens than what CUT has shown in this video. I was there from 9:30am till 3/4pm. There’s 6hs of footage CUT down into 50mins so chillll. This was for all fun and games, making plutonic and/or romantic connections, and for the experience entirely. Not a lot of people can say they got out of their comfort zones for 6hs. Try the experience. I think it’s worth it. Also yes I am legit 6ft (w/o hair also). Sometimes I am 71.75 inches, 72 inches or 72.25 inches.
