I really like adding in mods that expand the dialogue options and events, especially for the dateable characters. There’s also a lot of mods that fix character dialogue after marriage to make them seem like they actually still love you 🥹 my fragile heart needed it lol

@@wartortle577 it means I stick with established lore that ConcernedApe made himself and I write my new dialogue based on what already exists, instead of taking the characters in my own direction. Occasionally, I’ll add a little bit of lore myself, but only if it seems appropriate and fitting with the official SDV canon. My goal is for two people-one who plays with my mod and one who doesn’t- to have the same general experience from each character; my mod just gives more variety

Easy fishing suite (I'm terrible at fishing). Skull cavern elevator. Those changed my game from incredible frustrating to actually enjoyable again. I also have the medieval buildings, they're beautiful.

One mod that is a must have for me (and is the reason I even downloaded mods in the first place) is More New Fish It adds SO many unique and interesting fishes (and besides, fishing is the best part of the game imo)

I love all these mods so much!! I would personally add a couple tho😅 I would add UI Info Suite 2, it’s AMAZING, it shows the luck, birthdays, traveling cart and such underneath the clock area. It also shows the growth time on plants if you hover over them If you choose the elle’s buildings on farm mod, it pairs really nicely with the elle’s town buildings mod, it gives the same vibe and is very cute! Chests anywhere is a bit cheaty, but as an adhd girlie, it saves my life every time! you can access any chest anywhere! better chests allows you to pick up chests even if they’re full, and makes the inside even bigger! bigger backpack adds another row/backpack upgrade you can buy from pierre’s! child to npc makes your kids grow up and hang out in town and play with jas and vincent! secretariat makes your horse MUCH faster, so worth it! I can’t think of any more off the top of my head, but these are some i would definitely recommend checking out!! loved this video nino, all the ones you mentioned are incredible as well!! just wanted to add a couple of my faves as well🥰

1:14 That placement with the bench and candle is interesting. On the one hand, they're misaligned with the stairs, but on the other, they need to be because that diagonal path would be the fastest way down, instead of a full 90 degree turn at the table.

The good thing about the tractor mod is that you can configure the cost of the tractor. I reduced the price to 50 and set the iridium requirement to 0, which made it much easier to get while also putting in some effort. And given the custom farm I'm using, I DESPERATELY need the tractor axing down all the trees.

SVE with Ridgeside is one of my best. Enjoyed all the events with almost 50 npcs😂 And I would recommend all the 'better' series for the esthetic look. Better artisan, Better crops, Better rings, Better gems better somewhat mode. And 'Seasonal' is always great keywords combined to. Seasonal floors, Seosonal fence. Don't miss UI info2 for all the detailed information, including recipes, luck, animal needs to be patted, tools upgrade, weather, and forages.

Looks like we have similar tastes in mods. I recommend the Oasis Greenhouse and Seasonal Garden Farmhouse (compatible with the medieval mods) if you like the Hot Spring Cave and whatnot. It adds so much to the game. Very enjoyable.

It's great for selling your goods to others and I also use it to talk and gift to everyone I missed during the week. Might be part of the Seasonal mod. There's also Diverse Stardew Valley, which also comes with seasonal outfits. You can either keep the characters vanilla or you can give them changes to make them look more real/mature. There's a TON of options, including ethnicity changes (if you're into that sort of thing). Modded plus sized Abigail is so cute that it's jarring to go back to her vanilla design.

I accidentally went down a rabbit hole because when installing NikoDaisy's Tilesheets for the hot spring mod because I misread "Mods requiring this mod" as "Mod requirements" and ended up installing all of those mods, and their dependencies, thinking that they were all dependencies. :')

You'll need "SMAPI - Stardew Modding API" for all of these and some need other things too, itll say what in the "requirements" tab on the mod's description page. After downloading you have to put the unzipped files into the mods folder of stardew on your computer.
