Not everyone gets a skin darkening prior to shedding. Many just look tight and wrinkly. If you do your peel on a Tuesday or Wednesday night ... you will get the majority off over the weekend ... and when you go back to work on Monday - your skin is pretty much done except maybe a bit around the hairline! Totally worth it. Then ... do it AGAIN next month for a full series of 6-8 peels.

So you can see the result after 3-4 weeks of using, because our skin fully change in one month. And i have retinol (yellow) peeling 1 time in 3-4 months by cosmetologist. And don't forget to use sunscreen during the day. This routine works good for me. Maybe you can try it as well.

PIH is always a possibility. It is about a 50% chance in the Fitzpatrick 4-6 types. It is imperative for them to pretreat with a melanin inhibitor for 4+ weeks prior to stronger peels to help prevent/lessen the possibility. Even lighter skin types have a possibility, but it is far less. The lower %, more controlled, the peel is the less your chances are as well. Meaning .. more layers of a milder % of TCA (like 7 or 13) as opposed to higher strengths 20%, 30% , 35% and 50%. These carry a much much higher risk. @@alexshif977

The morning after peel was the best one because I couldn't see any redness on her chin but then as time progressed it got worse as had uneven brown patches to only go back to the way the skin was in the first place! She's beautiful anyway with beautiful skin.

All the brown skin was the removal of unhealthy skin. If you look at the side-by-sides at day 0 and day 7, there is actually a significant difference in the removal of the pigmentation around the eyes and cheeks. This was a medium depth peel thay helps to remove pigment and tighten skin. The most important thing is that the patient was very happy.

I definitely have less scarring and some of my ice pick scarring is better, but not totally gone. I understand your frustration and generally sympathize with anyone who has to suffer from this situation. I wish it weren't so expensive. I believe there's other forms of treatment for deep scarring with something like an injection of acid in the affected areas that will fill them in. I hope you're able to get the treatment you need.
