So when you go out to eat do you have to specify you don’t want the tap water???

Luckily no, the restaurants will generally not use tap water for drinking water. When in doubt, just ask for a bottle of water

I have a nut allergy, is it hard to find food without nuts in Bali?

Great question - I do think a lot of local food/food from warungs COULD have peanuts/nuts in them (depending on the dish). I'm not an expert on nut allergies and I know there is a lot of variance for people's severity/what food is included, so I honestly don't feel too comfortable commenting on this. There is alot of peanut sause in many Asian kitchens and unless it's a 5 star rating, I highly doubt things are separated in their kitchen s. Bring lots of Epi Pens! 😮

​. Lots of peanut sauce in every single Warung and restaurants. Bring many Epi Pens or definitely not recommended going to Asian Countries. Even the airport and airplanes served a bowl of fresh roasted peanuts which were so delicious but I definitely thought about people like you. It's not safe.
